Now I don't know much about Miami,

Do you think FSU is in better shape right now than Miami?

Absolutely.

:stopitslime:

To answer your question, the story for Miami is similar to what it's been for years; they have individual pieces, but can they perform on game day? We have guys with stars beside their names as well. They're relatively inexperienced in spots. O Line has been shotty (particularly in the run game) for a few years. There's been significant reshuffling there. I would suspect Enos will be better (more engaged, able to adjust) than Richt was.

I expect the defense to be good, despite replacing experienced players on the back end. Gerald Willis is a loss but they'll have to replace his production with multiple guys. Don't know if anybody is capable of being as disruptive as he was. I think our End rotation is as good as there is in the country.

Our punter is Australian and has tattoos so that's cool.

His defense can't stop good offenses at all.

Well lucky for him we aren't playing one worth a shyt anytime soon :unimpressed:

He's not a savant, but most of Miami's defensive issues were a result of their inability to sustain offense and punt the ball. As you all credit Taggart for turing around awful situations and rebuilding, Diaz did exactly that with Miami's defense; they were awful and became highly productive.

I get what you are saying. But against the more higher powered offenses. It looked bad. I mean even with FSU being that bad. The offense had no problem moving the ball.

Diaz ain't the lick at all. Before it's all over half you're staff will be Cafe con leche drinking mofos. I'm from Miami I know how those river rafters move. They put all their Gumbas in high positions even if they ain't qualified.
Look at Oregon's staff right now. Thats your staff probably next year:francis:

In modern college football, offenses are beating the defense. There are no masterminds on that side anymore. Even the best struggle to corral them.

Gators be picking up too much riff raff. Sometimes you gotta look past the stars and the ratings and get some dudes can be about something more than what they can do on the field.

:patrice: But they did have Tebow though
History shows the riff Raff makes championships. But you have to baby sit them. Some schools aren't willing to do that

The same way Georgia Tech and Wake has managed to win the ACC while y'all still haven't and we still have to sit thru the "The U is Back" narrative every year :unimpressed:. Bums been to the same amount of ACC championship games as Duke. But hey, keep pointing to the two seasons where FSU lost a coach and the first year with a new coach as your measuring stick for Miami's greatness :mjlol:
Pop shyt when the University of South Carolina has more ACC titles than you brehs. All Canes Conference my ass :russ:

And you’re coach got fired in the locker room cause he let a white boy run all over his defense at Texas. But he restoring the feeling :stopitslime:

I just get Florida 2011 vibes from Miami. We thought the old legend was washed up and outdated and we took the highly regarded DC and made him a HC and hired a respected former HC as OC and thought shyt was sweet....until we played a team that was worth a damn and got the shyt smacked outta us
