It was stupid and shortsided, but it was worth the risk based on the #'s we have at WR. Same with taking Diwun Black. Hammond not making it in was random as it wasnt known from the outside he was a grade risk.

Nobody could have predicted the Steele and Jones situation happening as well as Wilson and not being granted a VISA.

It was known all of them, including Zipperer, were risks to get in. In fact, Arjei chose UF before even visiting the campus because they were his only committable offer left at the time. Everyone else cooled on him. Dan knew it was next to impossible to get him in. In fact, word is Leonard Manual may be your next WR up on the Summer Jam screen next cycle. He's playing these kids for recruiting optics.

Don't argue with champ he in full :fspoo: going undefeated mode

My bad. I forgot the time of year it is. Hope springs eternal for everybody. Everything's a mystery, therefore everything's great.

@Champ_KW my bad bro. I've been there. Harsh seasons from my boys can cause a nikka to lose all optimism. It's a dark, nasty place.

You'll be here soon enough :unimpressed:

I have a hard time believing coaches were caught by suprise. A lot of times, stuff that leak have happened weeks in a advance. Mullen just doesn’t seem to vaule character, he wanted to take Kelvin and his 1.8 GPA.

Yea it's WELLLLL known Manuel is a risk and I do think Dan stilll gonna full steam ahead with him. I wouldn't but what do i know. Even when i watchrd him, he looked more like a project at WR than a pure WR. I know he hoops too so that may be it. I'd process him out cause lord knows the backlash gonna be lethal if we take him and he's a no go.

Im saying the outside, as in us the fans, not the coaches.

Im talking about predicting Chris Steele would be home sick and also Jalen Jones getting to campus and getting his Kellen Winslow jr on.

Do you think FSU is in better shape right now than Miami?

Absolutely. A better QB and all of our elite talent not puppies anymore. Juniors: 5* and #1 ranked DT Marvin Wilson, 5* and #1(2) ranked RB Cam Akers, #1 ranked Center Baveon Johnson, 5* and #1 APB Khalan LaBorn, and 5* DE Joshua Kaindoh. Not to mention former #1 ranked CB LeVonta Taylor is a Senior. Not only is there talent, but there's still elite talent in Tallahassee. Add Baby Briles to the mix and y'all kinda get an idea of where this thing is headed. It wasn't a talent issue. Wrong QB and bad culture permeated the squad for multiple years. We finally cycled all those kids that quit against Louisville, UNC, and Houston outta the program (or regulated them to the bench). It's a totally different football team than the last two years. Instead of that drunk S&C coach that couldn't put any weight on Josh Sweat his entire time at FSU, we got a monster that's reshaping these kids bodies in one offseason. FSU is now 300 plus pounds across the O-Line now. It's just a different focus and energy surrounding this team. Now I don't know much about Miami, so fill me in. What does Miami have in the chamber this year?

I mean who really cares what we know :yeshrug:

Mullen needs to know and I’m pretty sure he did, it’s not like he just met these kids. At least he’s a great coach, I Know he’s tweaking for the season to start.

FSU reminds me so much of LSU last year. People getting their Finebaum on and just looking at the HC and throwing 6-7 wins at them. Truth is they have great assistants and players, and people choose to ignore it.

Yea im sure he did too and got burned. Now that we've added more personel to our recruiting staff (I wanna say 5 more), i expect it to be better when it comes to vetting cause like i said, and we all know, UF isn't in a position talent and depth wise to take academic risk on more than 2 kids (at the most) per cycle.

Wait I thought FSU didn’t have any talent because of Jimbo being so bad and that’s why Willie’s been struggling. But now they have elite talent all of a sudden? Which one is it??
No they had the talent, Jimbo lost all control of the team after the Jamis Winston thing.

He'll fukk yeah. Y'all went and made an Oye your HC. Y'all going to learn like Oregon. His defense can't stop good offenses at all. That weak schedule that UM plays every year made it seem like he was this genius DC.

We all know Taggarts background even though y'all wanna play dumb. He turns around bad programs. When comes the are pure garbage. When he leaves they are in a way better position and are competitive.

FSU was pure shyt when he took over. Jimbo pretty much said fukk it. He's the reason why he had to start the bust 4 and 5 stars due to the low APR. Even with that he won the same amount of games as Jimbo's last year.

Now with Briles and Dugan's on staff. The sky is the limit. The talent is there. Our receivers are:wow:. Our Dbs are:wow:

Now I don't think they are winning an NC this year but the pattern is laid. Willie T is recruiting well. Hitting that Tampa area like:wow:. A spot that didn't really fukk with FSU.

Bottom line the blueprint is laid.
