not sure what else you can do, guys really committed to LSU
Don’t speak too soon we’re about to find out in the coming weeks how much he loves LSU. The thing is we have like 7 starters on defense next year that will be seniors and players like Delpit, Phillips, and Chassion who are early entry canidate. We’re talking about a mass exodus on defense after next year, Aranda is not goin to stick around his stock will be as high as it can prolly get he’s not goin to come back to coach up a bunch a young players and basically start over. That DC spot is Raymond’s unless they’ve already promised that spot to Bill Busch which would be fukked up and a good reason for Raymond to leave,

cant believe Raymond has to be begged to be a DC, dudes 50 and has been the best at what he does for years

dont you want to call a game at some point? pos coach on gameday seems kinda boring

He has a great gig. Some people are content with what they are doing. :manny:

Everybody doesn't what to be head coach or coordinator. They get to see the headaches/drama that comes with it firsthand.

If he is a coaches' coach, then position coaching is where you can just focus on coaching without the politics, spotlight, and media demands.

Could be a stability thing. He is from Louisiana and played there, right?

Good positions coaches are in demand, sometimes held over when there is a coaching change for their recruiting and coaching ability.

I keep hearing that with these inflated coaches salaries, buyouts and etc, that LSU is about to make some cuts when it comes to athletics. Raymond may not be going anywhere since he could possibly be the next DC there

speaking of Bama.....let's run down the list of "consecutive wins" they have against programs currently (that they play on a regular basis that is)...

Tennessee: 12 straight
Arkansas: 11 straight
MSU: 11 straight
LSU: 8 straight
Florida: 6 straight
Georgia: 5 straight

Don't see it changing for the first 3 teams listed either. :ld:

LSU and Florida have the potential, but remains to be seen. :jbhmm:

Georgia is right there, but couldn''t finish the job the last 2 games. :francis:

This is true the government and administration meddling into the athletic budget. They lied to the fans they said Coach O was goin to be underpaid to pay for assisstant but the school was really just being cheap
