I’ll add to it, Charlie Weis, had 2 good seasons at ND and was ass in every season after 2006, coaches get fired for less but he managed to last five years there. Also, I wouldn’t call him garbage but Kevin Sumlin was a really big name back in 2012-2013 coming from Houston and having a great first year at A&M, Heisman winner, upset #1 Alabama, having talks of getting an NFL gig and I think even rumored for the USC job but never took advantage of his popularity at the time.
