I know, and I don't think that's wise. If Chicago takes Young, Dunn or LaVine's days are numbered. You can sell me on a Dunn/Young backcourt. the defense would be NBA worse, but you could try to convince people on LaVine /Young. Having all 3 just means Dunn is gonna be the odd man out. LaVine plays way too many minutes to believe that all 3 are gonna get in and get theirs. I could understand Porter from a talent standpoint and Carter as well. They both fill needs too. If Dunn even somewhat gets off to a bad start, everyone will be crying for Young and that'll make things real awkward.

You’re allowed to have three good guards, ya know.

And how do you plan on distributing those minutes when one of those guys is looking at a probable max deal or close to it and 36 minutes a night. They're better off looking to address that guard spot at 22. At least the expectation won't be that whoever they take there will threaten the starter's job. Like I said, if they go guard at 7, it's either because they're not committed to LaVine or Dunn or they don't think there's a future starter to be had at 7.

if they go Young at 7 its either because 1) all the bigs/wings are gone 2) they have Young super high on their draft board (which is possible if you believe what people close to the team in Chicago say)

I dont think its a given they have soured on Dunn or Lavine then necessarily. It does however make things difficult with all 3 needing minutes and with Lavine/Dunn due raises the next 2-3 seasons, I agree with you there

honestly though, if its between Young & Carter, I think they go Carter personally

if Young goes top 6, they are drafting one of the following ... JJJ, Bamba, MPJ

and that's the point I'm making. I still maintain Young is going to Orlando for box office purposes.

I been shooting up this man on RealGM since Jan. I been saying, his ceiling is the highest for me outside of Bagley who can be a different type of special. I been saying this, Giannis at center.

I’ve said I don’t see how he can bust for a while. Worst case he’s javale with a working brain. You can’t fukk up with that length as long as you’re coordinated, and obviously Mo more than coordinated.

You sound bitter

Sexton and Dunn could play together

You don’t not take the best player available because of Zach Lavine

And you don’t deserve anything good if you’re playing Lavine 36 minutes a night
