I’ll say it the Celtics have been waiting years for a white allstar they literally got the dude because of the relationship he has with the coach...Hayward isn’t going anywhere...Kyrie and Jaylen Brown would be traded before Gordon.

On another note a team like Charlotte, Brooklyn, Orlando, Sacramento, and Atlanta should see if they can get anything done for Wiggins if he’s being shopped and they can move cap space and closer to expiring contracts.

Just imagine the length the magic would have pause with:
C:Bamba
PF:Gordon
SF:Isaac
SG:Wiggins
PG: can come next year

Doesn’t mean anything if he’s still refusing to play defense but he would at least be the bonafide number 1 option and could put up numbers.
we already got one lazy overpaid bum in batum :what: he ain't even the 3rd best option on his own team. if we wanted a super athlete only good for taking midrange jumpers most of the year we would've kept gerald henderson :scust:

I need whatever your smoking if you think this lineup scores over 100 points a game. They’d be a break laying phenomenon. They could have one of the best defenses but it won’t matter.

that ain't even a good defense either

you put a shoulder in isaac's chest and he goes straight to the shadow realm for the rest of the possession

What can we expect the Warriors to do?? Is any team going to sell us another 2nd round pick?

Maybe Kevin Huerter or will he be gone before we pick at 28??

This big class after Robert Williams is basically non existent. Wizards really gonna be hurt if all of the top 6 are gone.

Should’ve shut down Wall and tanked :francis:

They won too many games to tank. They won something like 11 of their first 15 games when Satoransky took over for Wall in late January and Otto Porter was dropping almost 20 PPG in February...

They basically tanked before the playoffs losing so many games which is why they got to #15. They were on a 46-47 win pace for a while.

Yeah that “everybody eats” streak was some premium fools gold shyt. Hurt chemistry and those wins really didn’t matter. Wasn’t anybody breathing down their neck in the east

Duval is going back to Duke, Battle back to Syracuse

the whole early entry list is here

NBA Draft 2018: Who's staying in and who's going back to college after testing the waters

I had Porter at 21 to Utah, Battle around 34-35, Duval around 44-46

Mock draft, first round before Game 1, @GoddamnyamanProf @MooseMouthMthafuga y'all are up

Looking at this and a lot of the returning/declaring folks aren't marked correctly.

As far as internationals since they don't get talked about a lot:

Isaac Bonga - Another DX overhyped Euro victim. Remember when he was projected lottery? Never saw it with how stiff and up right he played. Could be a decent role player tho.

William McDowell-White - This dude was supposed to be like a White Dante Exum. Supposed 5 star Aussie who went to Fresno St but never declared.

Vasileios Charalampopoulos - Shame what injuries did to him. That U19 tournament still legendary and I wouldn't be shocked if he became a role player in the league despite his physical limitations.

Rodions Kurucs - Another guy DX had ranked lottery at one point. I think he can be a Mike Dunleavy Jr type in the league tho.

Arnoldas Kulboka - Don't know much about him other than he use to kill it at the US grassroots summer camps.

Karim Jallow - Another name I've heard a lot about but need to look into.

If I’m a team picking in the mid first round I’d take a chance on Anfernee Simmons

Still really raw but has lotto pick upside

I’d take him before a 3 or 4 year player who’s ceiling is decent rotation player which is what is usually left at that point in the draft

HAVE they though? Or is that a narrative people run with because “well it IS Boston?”

There’s a thread right now on the front page about the C’s reportedly wanting Mo Bamba, who is as far away from Larry Bird as you can get in many ways, yet you’re of the belief that the most winngest franchise in the NBA just can never function without a white superstar. Their favorite player the last couple of years was a Black leprechaun in Isaiah Thomas, but they need a white basketball star? They can get the whitest of stars out, whoever that is, and he still ain’t Larry Bird, and any sane fan will understand that. It’s a stereotype. Many teams have them.

Boston = needs a white superstar
Jazz = needs a Mormon
Lakers = needs a flashy player who has entertainment side hustles
Knicks = needs a superstar from NY who loves defense and is into giving people boonks
Teams in flyover country =who gives a shyt? They should be grateful they have a team.

See how that works? They don’t need a white guy at the helm more than any other team. They’re third banana in that town regardless until Belichick and Brady leave and the Pats fall apart.

I'm not going to debate the narrative with you I didn't make it but I have heard it a ton.

I like Bonga, but you're right. He moves very mechanically. Good passer and long arms, and he could end up being a good 3/4 in time.

Did you finally watch Elie Okobo?
