it wasnt a great market last year for them to make a philosophical shift but honestly they could've made a gamble w a lesser known name and it would've been as smart as promoting Orgeron...or threw Kiffin an offer he couldn't refuse

But he can recruit his ass off though. Honestly, he just need to do what Les Miles wouldn't do... Be a power recruiter/figure head coach, chum it up with reporters, bring in red hot young assistants and let them cook. Get a qb specialist. That's it. That's all we needed. I support O, but dumping Matt Canada for not making his ideas work and not being a yes man is going to come back to bite him.

I see what you saying...idk how great Canada was for y’all but he seems leagues better than this Ensminger character, who seems like nothing more than a vessel of Orgeron’s offensive “wishes”. I think to be a guy who hires yes men, you gotta be a tier 1 coach in Xs and Os. Maybe firing him is too strong, but Ed needs to have a list of elite offensive guys for next season now just incase
