Ringer Podcast, Mays and Lombardi. It is Lombardi so take it for what you want.

1:30 - 7:43 Lombardi killing Trubisky and hyping up Watson. one thing I agree with Mike on is, if Trubisky was so good, it is BS that Larry Fedora did not start him over Williams. As a Ducks and Mariota fan, I saw Chip pretty much bounce Darron Thomas for Marcus.

8:00: Is about Qb's to take a chance on ala Dak. Lombardi says Pitt QB Nathan Peterman, meh. Lombardi then says Dak is a bit different, hit on all of Parcells QB's check marks.

11:45 -17:18: Peppers. @Smitty and tOSU fans will loves this part. Lombardi kills Peppers. Peppers does not have a position in the NFL and Michigan tried to hide him. Says delano hill(Calls him delano hall tho) was a better player then him for UM. And like I said it is lombardi so take of it what you will. But dude is saying nothing any of us non UM fans have thought about Peppers. Tho, Mike goes full tOSU after breaking him down with. Peppers is "Like having a expensive watch but your always looking at your phone". Also a interesting point about Mock drafts in this segment.

17:18 - 20:27: Some Cam stuff. Protect him..

20:30: Zeke, this was a weird segment. About Zeke partying and gambling in vegas. Agents not having control over him and what not. This is pretty much a, but Gronk..

23:00 Random Q's..

Good listen. Lot's to agree with, and disagree with. :yeshrug:

You guys underrate intelligence, work ethic, and competitiveness when evaluating a prospect cause you haven't watched these guys as much as I have. Josh Dobbs and Cam Sutton are A+ players when it comes to all the intangibles. And in the NFL when it becomes your job 24/7 and you get millions on dollars, its the players with the good physical tools and great intangibles that end up surpassing the guys with great physical tools and piss poor intangibles.

Just think about it this way. If I gave you $5 million tomorrow would you still work as hard as you do now at your job? Some people will start to slack off once they think they've made it. That how come there are so many busts in pro sports. Some guys get satisfied easily. While other guys are insane competitors and never get satisfied.

Josh Dobbs and Cam Sutton are in the same mold as Russell Wilson and Richard Sherman. They will not be satisfied by just making it to the NFL. They won't be satisfied by just being a starter or just being okay. They are driven to be the best. Their competitive fire and work ethic is second to none. That is why I'm so confident they will be great.
Cool he just doesn't have the size to be a top corner. He's 5'11'' 185, he will get bullied by big WRs and he is no help in the run game

Last I checked the best CB of the last 10 years Darrelle Revis is also 5'11" and just a little heavier at 198 lbs.

Cam Sutton will be fine. He'll make up for the small deficit in size with his intelligence and instincts honed from hours of film study.

Cam Sutton is a rat in the film room. That is why I'm confident he'll be a SUPERSTAR in the NFL. He's driven to be the best.

Interestingly, the only QB to hit on all the Parcells check marks this year is Josh Dobbs. But these media heads keep ignoring him.

These idiots are gonna get made into fools 2 years in a row. Last year they ignored Dak and he turned out to be a superstar. This year they're ignoring Dobbs even when they say they're trying to find the next Dak and he'll also make them look like idiots.

Its hilarious to me that Nate Peterman is getting all this hype when that clown couldn't even beat out a freshmen Josh Dobbs who the coaching staff was desperately trying to redshirt.

Nathan Peterman = certified scrub

Peterman is the only QB to play in a Pro Style offense, and he put up #s similar to all the spread guys. That's why NFL teams love him so much. Besides Watson he is the most NFL ready QB in this draft IMO

Peterman had 50 TDs past two years to only 15 INTs. That's great in a pro style offense. Kirk Cousins comparison he makes is pretty accurate. He doesn't do anything great but he doesn't have any weaknesses and like I said the only QB with extensive pro style experience.

If you wanna be a in the box safety you gotta be a man and take on the B gap, and that aint Peppers :whew:. Dude killing him :pachaha:

I think Patrick Chung is a good comp of dude. :ehh:

Tho Pat was a better Safety in College, Peppers should strive to be Pat Chung like.

O/T:

This site was not up when Chung was balling at Oregon. God damn I was a fan. The fights I got in on Pats boards over Patrick , ugh.

I took a L until Chung came back home tho.

Nate Peterman is getting no hype. Lombardi just randomly threw his name out. I agree with you, Dobbs should be in that random QB class tho.

Peterman is getting lots of hype inside the NFL. Just no mainstream media hype.

The NFL site has him listed as the 4th best QB in this draft. Mayock has him 5th I think. Lots of others love him as well.

Interesting. This QB class is trash regardless.

Love this part, and completely agree. Been saying this about Peppers for the longest. All this athletic ability, no production.

I agree with @Swagnificent about Kamara btw. Every time I've watched dude play he's been one of the best players on the field. I'd love for him to come on as Le'Veon's backup but I don't think he'll be around for us and wouldn't spend a first on a backup anyway

Also - I know Peterman is getting some love in scouting circles. I've also seen him compared to Derek Carr. I just don't see it. He's a "won't lose it for you" guy but I don't see him going out and slinging it in the league

Enjoy these highlights. They are just a preview of what Josh Dobbs will do to the NFL when he gets there.

Breh, Dobbs is way too inconsistent for me to put real trust in.

He's had some really bad games (Appalachian St, South Carolina, Alabama) that I can't look past. Although he had some real good games (Florida, Texas A&M, Georgia) so I think he can be good.

Idk how much playcalling had to do with it though :manny:

I like Kamara too. Dude will be a nice pick up in late 2 early 3.
