If there was even the slightest bit of truth to that "promised" rumor, JJ will be a laker

I don't think his workout was as bad as Draftexpress would implying. But shyt I could be wrong. Mannix was saying top 5 gm's love him.

like who?

breh are you kidding asking me that? Washington was 9-22 and i think they only won 2 games in their conference. I'm sure there's legitimate guys who played for losing college teams but I don't think any of them have gone #1. You should be listing the exceptions , because if I look at the top players in the NBA they weren't only beasts in college , their teams were either top teams or very close to top teams in the conference.

like who? name these superstars that played with no talent in a high major conference and won a ton of ball games all by themselves.

Some dude on real gm who is supposedly plugged said if donovan mitchell isnt there at 16 bulls drafting giles. He claims this is a fact :yeshrug:

it feels the bulls were very high on donovan mitchell

i think it would have been Kennard but the scent of McBuckets is still lingering and I don't think they dare go for that type of player again (although Kennard can create his own offense compared to McBuckets and is a totally different player because of that).

Fultz had nobody else on that squad, it's impressive how he managed the amount of assists that he did, he could have scored a lot more. Romar did a terrible job.

The sample size is smaller too because the "one and done" rule is relatively new.

All of the top prospects go through the same few schools such as Kentucky because they are guaranteed playing time as the guys last year all left for the league like they will. If you swap Fox with Fultz they'd still make the tournament of course.

That's why the guys who go to different schools such as DSJ, Simmons and Fultz have problems. The difference is Ben and DSJ had more pieces around them.

first of all, Washington has talent, several of their players are top 20 recruits at their respective positions coming into college - definitely enough to win against Yale, TCU, Nevada, Washingon State, Sandford, Utah,

but obvious they couldn't get it down, culminated by a 13 game losing streak, but Markelle got his right?

like i said, i never seen a #1 pick who couldn't produce actual team wins - you can continue to ask your question but basically everyone, every single NBA player who was drafted in the top 10 in the past 25 years. (I'm making that up - because it's a stupid question, you're asking).

you guys don't know basketball and I doubt you even know the players on Washington State...you're just saying stuff right now . Lomar had lesser talent in prior years and was able to win more games. Get's the #1 pick in the draft and loses the most he ever has and this was against teams with no wear near the alent Washington had. I'm not blaming all of this on Markelle but his game didn't translate to wins - that doesn't mean he sucks. I just see him as a player who could go out there and stuff the stat sheet but literally have no actual impact on the game.

I do take in account that his Coach could have done a better job

name them

I just said every top 10 player in the past 25 years

you show me which ones ran their team to losing record, not even losing record but worse then they were before they arrived.

why don't you rebuttal the point instead of displacing and building a strawman ?

Romar has never put talent around his 4/5* guys but this year was definitely one of the worst. I watched every Washington game this season in full, some twice or three times.

Fultz coasting on defense certainly had an impact, and he wasn't 100% healthy all year either.

They should have given Romar at least one more year, he had probably his best class ever coming in.
