I mean more often than not it gives u a pretty good idea. But yea I get what u mean, Slade Bolden was Louisiana HS player of the year and gets no love. Daboll is going to use him like an Edelman/Welker type and make him a stud

Just saying LSU class isn't as stacked as it usually is. All of those guys might turn out to be solid but most of them don't have star potential.
If we get Terrace Marshall, Patrick Surtain, and Kelvin Joesph Then that's at least 3 studs and if the rest are good to great players then what more could yu ask for? There's players in this class with high upsides. yu look back at most of our classes that what it was 3-4 stars and a bunch of good players

High school stats mean nothing. :pachaha:
Yea they do when they are that good he broke all of Deshaun Watsons records. And pretty much everyone agrees he's the best QB to come out in quite awhile. Also plays in one of if not the most competitive HS football states considering Florida, Cali and Texas talent is more spread out. Not like he is one of the 5 star Northwest QBs. He's legit

JT Daniels for Mater Dei went over 4000 yards, 50+ TDs passing, have a couple rushing TDs, with 4 picks. 15-0 and is about to win the mythical national championship. That’s a down year stats wise since he almost had 5,000 yards thrown with 67 TDs as a sophomore.... He’s a junior in Cali and might get national player of the year over Lawrence. I don’t know what everybody agrees means since they said the same about Fields.

Those stats means nathan once college starts.

High school ball for the most part is stat padding against 3-7 teams all year, you play maybe 2-3 legit teams a season.

Unless you're in a texas, florida or california league private school league where the competition is high, Thats why most legit players usually come from those catholic and prep school leagues, They been tested vs high level comp.

I ain't saying hes a scrub, but how did he do vs legit teams?

He's been talked about as the next prodigy since he was in 8th grade that's why there isn't more buzz people are tired of talking about him. Fields was the new hot thing to talk about for awhile but now everyone has Lawrence ranked above him again. Fields and Daniels are going to be nice too.. I just like Lawrence more:yeshrug:

Minus Florida, yea, not really. Like @No Sleep has mentioned plenty of times, TX kids just max out once they hit college. Either that or the competition they dominated has caught up with them. And there's a reason when Cali kids come down south to play college ball, they usually flame out or high tail it back to the westcoast. We play football like no one else down here. Give me recruits from FL, GA, LA, Bama, VA (Tidewater area) & Ohio/Western Pennsylvania all day

This. I think most NFL players are from these states alone
