Makes zero sense. UF and FSU are rivals so they are scheduled every year.
UF has not been good for years. For years FSU could play UF and UM without worry of SOS. Both programs stayed in the top 10. They are both terrible now. So FSU has to schedule big dogs from any conference.

Outside of UCLA, my strongest ties are to Michigan. I'll always have a soft spot for them, but I've haven't seen a more touchy fanbase since Harbaugh arrived in Ann Arbor.
