Agreed. I just dont see how drafting Dunn who has the same problem helps.
Dunn will help, but not for the reasons people think. Believe it or not I'm not opposed to Dunn as a player or a pick, but he'll help in this regard:
-How confident can anyone be in giving that lawn gnome Tyus Jones 20+ minutes a night right now? He's physically not there yet. If they don't draft a PG, they'll go after another vet PG to ease Jones in some more. Dunn would give Minny their own Teague /Schroder. Add to it another passing threat because this team is flat out awful at passing sans Rubio. That's something that needs to be addressed regardless of who the PG is.
Most importantly it guarantees LaVine never plays PG again, and that can't be stressed enough.
Murray's the more logical of the two because he's younger, much less injury prone, and shoots better. Where Murray falls flat is that he's not a pure PG.
