Only a fool would think MSU is an overall better program than Michigan. MSU was either unstable or embarrassing from the 70s-2006....

We just tryna do our thang, and continue winning the conference....maybe y'all get a taste this year ;) n/h

And y'all clung to things like this when you can't beat us...shouldn't you be focused on OSU, your "real" rival or is it just too far gone?

Last year gonna haunt Michigan forever and Harbaugh til he's the coach of the LA Rams...

Yall haven't played them since that 2010 game?:what:

But LSU has played them 4 times in 8 years:what:

These SEC crossover schedules stupid as fukk :snoop:
lsu plays alabama every year, theyre in the same division. between adding a&m/mizzou and changing annual crossover opponents, theyve reset the schedules without worrying about how long teams have gone without facing each other. though with the 8 game schedule it will take 6 years to cycle through the other division which aint ideal.

really they need to go to 9 games, but i think if you go that route every team in the same division needs to play the same amount of conference home games. sure it gives one division an advantage over the other each year, but id rather have that than have a rival in my division get more conference home games. i dont get why the pac-12 didnt set it up like that, though the schools may have balked about resetting the schedule and ending up potentially playing back to back years on the road against the same team during that first year while the schedule reset.

Didn't them nikkas move up to #2 in the rankings that year

Yep, beat WVU on a Thursday Night, I remember that game like yesterday, I believe it's still one of the highest rated Thursday Night games ever. Anyway, USF jumped up to the top 5 after that win and lost 3 weeks later to Rutgers. Meanwhile, WVU would climb to #1 later in the season until they lost to Pitt.

Naw nobody but down south cats hold the Iron Bowl that high. When you think of top tier rivalries in sports its Ohio St - Michigan , Yankees - Red Soxs, Duke - Carolina.
nah

only rivalries that are on Ironbowl level is Michigan OSU, and maybe Man U vs Arsenal

Ohio St, Michigan, and Alabama are all time great programs. Auburn doesn't fit that to make the Iron Bowl on par with Ohio St Michigan. I'd go out on a limb and say most of the country who don't follow college football doesn't even know Auburn is in the state of Alabama

I think it's b/c in Alabama that Iron Bowl is borderline life n death. If OSU or Michigan loses life goes on, but if Alabama or Auburn loses it's like hell for that other team/fanbase the entire year of their meaningless lives...no offense Bama or AU fans, but you know the segment of your fanbases that I'm speaking about. Duke vs Carolina doesn't have the people that base their entire lives around that rivalry like AU/Bama does.

I still think OSU/MI is the better rivalry and Duke vs. Carolina too...but I get the Iron Bowl being the more 'intense.'

Dantonio low key is someone I wished Michigan would have replaced Carr with in 07. He is an incredible coach. Who the hell finds two 1st round NFL CBs from 2 star recruits?

I would have taken Dantonio , then Les Miles in hindsight

RR and Hoke were both clowns

I agree but I'll put it like this, Alabama/Auburn fans might be more crazy but Ohio State/Michigan coaches are more crazy :pachaha:Alabama/LSU is right up there with fan fukkery though.

Y'all def on the right track now, Harbaugh is one of the best in the business and had y'all in position to be a 1 loss team in his first year. Big Ten east is going to be a bloodbath for years and if Pedo State can get on track then we have 4 top 15 teams competing for the division like the SEC West.

I'll prolly get hated on for this but Harbaugh is a better coach than Les Miles; who can go from title contender contender to 4-5 loss team quickly.
