Yeah they really didn't lose any key contributors.

well they lost Corey Coleman and that big Wilfork-type nose tackle....and Oakman, though he had a down year.

So those are big, but they have a ton of athletes who can/will make plays.

i dont think it's wise to count out Baylor.

They might have lost some freshman, but they still have their most of their same talent returning, and the coaching staff is the same except Art Briles.
Nah they lost a lot of talent and depth. They're down to 66-67 scholarship players.

1) Brian Nance- starting DE, one of their best players, kicked off team/ruled ineligible
2) Rami Hammad- Starting RG, kicked off team
3) Jeremy Faulk- JUCO NT who was supposed to replace Billings, kicked off team
4) Jarrett Stidham- 2nd string QB, one of the more talented QBs in the nation, transfer
5) Chris Johnson- 3rd string QB, transfered to Houston
6) Branton Autry- JUCO OL, in the 2 deep, had a shot to start, kicked off team
7) Devin Chafin- Backup RB kicked off team
8) Kenan Ivy- DB who figured to play as a freshman, didn't qualify
9) Riley Daniel- freshman OL, medical, unclear on where he would have been on depth chart
10) Tyrae Simmons- JUCO OL transfer, hasn't been cleared academically, unclear where he would have been on depth chart

'16 Recruits released from LOI:
11) Devin Duvernay
12) Patrick Hudson
13) Parrish Cobb
14) DeQuinton Osborne- JUCO DT
15) Brandon Bowen
16) JP Urquidez
17) Kam Martin
18) Tren dikkson (EE but transfered)
19) Donovan Duvernay

***This list doesn't include the players they lost to the NFL. Also, KD Cannon is out a few weeks after MCL surgery and there are rumors that Shock Linwood might be facing some discipline.

Swag just wanna guarantee that he get put on that summer jam screen when they lose week 1

Maximum we lose one game next year. All my indicators say we're gonna win the natty.

But we might not be unblemished.

I want 15-0 but we could lose that first matchup to Alabama in Knoxville. My indicators are saying that is the most likely scenario. However, we'll definitely win the rematch and Atlanta. And once that happens its but a mere formality that we will be national champs.

Nah it's gon be
1. Fournette
2. Elliott
3. Gurley

First of all, Elliott will be better in the pros than Fournette. I like his agility and cutting ability better.

Gurley I don't trust to stay healthy. He's also not the same back he was before the ACL tear. His career might be short.

Hurd will be Eddie George with 4.4 speed. That is something the NFL ain't ready for. He'll be like a glitch in the Matrix.

New Orleans
Telling Erick Fowler to uncommit from us on NSD so we don't have a chance to go after someone else. That might not be a big deal to Yu but then there's the sleeping with a booster's wife idk how he was able to get out of that one without anyone noticing.

Baylor is done they will get a break because there early season schedule is so garbage Baylor will start 5-1 and fall off. 2011 OSU and 2012 Arkansas thought the same thing going into their seasons Baylor is toast. I say Baylor ends up 7-5 and 8-4 is best case scenario.

oh, ok I didn't know all those dudes were kicked off.

But still keep in mind:

They're early schedule is trash. So they can be 5-0 by the time players come back from injury. Or by the time they find their footing
And alot of those dudes are probably motivated.

They know they gotta have a big year to become cool again for next yrs recruits.

pre-RGIII senior season, 8-4 is a DREAM season at Baylor. lol

and they lost like 4 recruits to Texas so you know they're gunning for that game.

And I still say their players are on steroids. :usure:@dtownreppin214

ya'lls problem is y'all haven't proven to be battle tested.

Y'all folded against OU late, folded against Florida late, folded against Bama late. I don't see you go from that to undefeated or national title.

Not saying it's impossible, but you needed to win 1 of those.

I do not expect Baylor to keep up their old levels of performance and play. Baylor is a s-y-s-t-e-m. Much like Bobby Petrino taking off from Arkansas, Art Briles was the big brain behind that offense. And then they replace him with a goof like Jim Grobe?
:francis:

Baylor doesnt really play defense or recruit defense, they just try and outshoot people. And half their recruiting class just transferred..

I think 2012 arkansas is a good comparison...without the offensive guru team gonna look real average.:childplease:

There are coaches who staff and recruit and with talented players and coaches, like Harbaugh at Stanford (when he left, they kept it going)...and those who are clearly the guru behind the wins like Briles.

Those USC clowns thought HC didn't matter either until 2012 rolled around. I need receipts on where this shyt kept rolling after departure of HC especially offensive minded HC's. They said Louisville wouldn't miss a beat when Petrino left in 07 Louisville fell off the map.
