Its crazy the shyt you find just looking up random players

This would all change in the middle of 2005 however. In June 2005 Police responded to a call about a man doing pushups in the street and jumping on cars in a residential neighborhood near Tallahassee, Florida.[1] When they reached the scene, Tallahassee police officer Zachary Lyne stated that Sexton was sitting in the middle of the street wearing only a pair of wet shorts and when repeatedly asked to state his name he eventually responded only that he was God.[1] Lyne then stated that Sexton became belligerent and had to be pepper sprayed and subdued.[1] Sexton was not charged with a crime as he passed a sobriety test,[7] and police stated that he had not committed a criminal act.[7] The police then, after consulting with Sexton's parents, released him to a hospital for medical observation. Initially there were allegations of drug abuse which Sexton's family quickly repudiated.[2] Sexton was later diagnosed with Lyme disease, a tick-borne disease that can cause joint swelling and brain inflammation if left untreated.[5] The disease was deemed to be in its later stages by a Lyme disease specialist when it was diagnosed,[8] who then recommended a treatment program of intensive antibiotic therapy for several months.[5]

In January 2006 Sexton announced he was quitting the football team in order to concentrate on his health and academics at Florida State:wtf:

No difference...we both choked. Clemson was going to pull away from Bama...but the one mistake Watson made gave Bama that momentum [the INT]. We were driving the field and it was about throw that was lofted higher...McCloud probably scores and Clemson is up by 2 scores. That Tenn v Bama game was just a trap game for Bama. They played Arkansas....then A&M and had LSU and Miss St after the Tenn game. If you don't think they were going through a bit of a let down then I don't know what to tell you. And Tennessee didn't have them "beat". Bama was up by 6...Hurd scores and it was a 1 pt game with like 5 min to go. All Bama needed was a FG to go back up before Henry scored with like 2 min left. They went for 2 and didn't get it...that's why it was a 5 pt game. Dobbs got popped and fumbled...game over.

Tennessee also missed 3 makeable FGs that day. 2 of them were 40-49 yards in distance.

If we make our FGs we beat Bama.

Your breakdowns were more egregious. You guys had multiple coverage breakdowns on defense and of the course the meltdown on special teams.

We played a more competitive game against Alabama. You guys played a bad game and were bailed out by a historic performance by your QB. We played a good game overall and were hurt by our FG kicker.

@Rigby. JF3 fukking trash, he couldn't even beat out a 0 star JUCO sophomore QB
As I explained to someone else, he didn't come in to an open race. A guy that was already there and knew the system plus was a legit passer and started retained his position. JF3 earned good minutes and made it a dual QB system. Staff obviously loved him enough to prep him up first time they got the chance for actual college greatness.

After an off season of working with QB coach after QB coach, I'm gonna take a good guess and say he's gotten better passing the ball. If he does start, the offense he'd be predicted to run just requires him making the right throws

He's not even a better QB than Jeremy Johnson

Good to see you've been in practice watching him every day. Anyway, that's not what I'm attempting to say and that's not what anyone has said about JF3. If y'all still believing you need some super elite QB to succeed in Gus's offense, you'll learn. Just need a game manager.

If he couldn't get right with Jimbo as his HC and Weinke as his QB coach then there's no hope for him

Who has been impressing in camp for your team so far?

For Tennessee, it's been:

1. Sophomore WR Preston Williams - a former 5 star recruit, he had an unimpressive freshmen campaign last year for 2 reasons. One he was coming off an ACL tear he suffered in November of his senior year in high school. And secondly, there were questions about his ACT score so he missed all of fall camp last year. He played during the season but could never really get over missing all of fall camp and still being less than a year removed from ACL surgery. He came on earlier this year at spring practice taking the reigns as our #1 WR. And has been a beast in camp so far. Expect him to have a HUGE season this year. He's 6'4" 210 lbs. with a huge wingspan, great hands, and deep ball speed.

2. Junior WR Josh Malone - another 5 star recruit that failed to live up to the hype so far. He's always had the physical tools. 6'3" 200 lbs with 4.4 speed. But folks have questioned his hunger. Well that looks to be changing thus far this fall camp. Apparently he's been killing it. Maybe it's the emergence of Preston Williams or maybe he's motivated by the fact he's finally draft eligible this year but Malone is looking like he's finally living up to his recruiting rank. Look out for him.

3. Top 8 Defensive Ends - Tennessee's d-line is so deep this year. Especially the edge rushers. We literally go 4-deep with quality pass rushers that are demanding significant playing time. Last years starters Derek Barnett (Jr.) and Corey Vereen (Sr.) are back. Their backups are former 5-star recruit Kyle Phillips (So.) and #1 JUCO 5-star recruit Jonathan Kongbo (R.So.). And one could argue they're more talented than the starters. And our 3rd/4th string is even commanding playing time. Latroy Lewis (R.Sr.), Darrell Taylor (R. Fr.), Dimarya Mixon (Jr.), and Austin Smith (So.) are guys who would have started 2 years ago. Now they'll be lucky to play in every game.

Defensive coordinator Bob Shoop said he might even play a guy like Derek Barnett more at DT this season so that some of these young defensive ends can get more snaps. Its amazing how LOADED we've become at that position.

So far I've heard nothing but great news from the Vols camp.
