Why didn't he do all that last season?

Bad o-line. Not so much because of talent but moreso because of inexperience. We had 2 true freshmen and 2 true sophomores starting for most of the season.

Hurd was typically shedding tacklers in the backfield. I believe Hurd averaged less than 2 ypc BEFORE contact. Way less than most RBs who get great blocking.

Our offense last year was all created by the greatness of Dobbs and Hurd. They really didn't get much help from receivers or offensive lineman.

Actually before 2015 I didn't follow Tennessee. I could care less about their matchup in 2014. That was 2 scrub teams battling that year.

Ask anyone here who knows me. In 2014 I had people thinking I was an Alabama fan cause I was riding hard for the SEC.
