Did you ever hear the story of the USC fan that went to every USC game for damn near 73 years that gotta be the GOAT lifestyle as a sports fan. He actually died at the Rose Bowl watching USC/UCLA play at the age of 91. Imagine all the great players he was able to witness
Died AT the Rose Bowl,Damn! :salute:

Gotta disagree. There's no better thing than being at the stadium watching the game. Atmosphere is way better than in your living room dolo or with friends at a bar. Only bad parts are a) you got real shytty seats. Last game I've gone to where the seats were horrible was probably FSU-Va Tech at Lane Stadium. If I'm not field level, I'm not fukkin with it. b) wack ass opponent. I use to stay at games until the final whistle but it's no use in doing it. Even then, traffic isn't that bad afterwards cause most folks left by the mid point of the third quarter. c) shytty weather. Last game I went to where it was miserable was FSU-Duke in2012 and it was absolutely horrible. No shade and the sun was blazing that day, gotdamn vendors were worse than those at a HS game, and they got a track around their field.

Obviously you don't want to go to every fukking home game. You have to pick and choose good ones.Like 1 and 2 a year.Being able to say you were at the big game and making memories with friends or loved ones beats sitting on the couch any day.I went to the Penn State game in 2010 in Tuscaloosa and seeing Paterno,Bowden and Saban on the field at the same time was something i'll never forget.I took one of my home boys who had never been to a college game in his life and he still talks about it to this day as the best time of his life.I didn't go to any games in 2011.But in 2012 i went to 3,Michigan in Dallas,Texas A&M in Tuscaloosa where Johnny Manziel went ham and then to the National Championship against Notre Dame in Miami. You might notice a trend i love the big match ups of blue blood teams.Texas A&M isn't considered a blue blood but it was our 1st game against them after they joined the SEC so i looked at it as a special game and it definitely ended up being one.I already have tickets against USC in Dallas, rent a car ready, reservations booked.I wouldn't miss this game for the world.FSU in Atlanta next year will be alot easier on me cuz i can leave the game and sleep in my own bed the same night. But you just gotta hand pick em.

I hear ya man. at the end of the day, I'm a huge fan/alumn, but I deem other things more useful to spend my money on. :yeshrug:

I'd have to have REALLY good seats to make it worth my time

There's not many games/events i look back on like "damn im mad i missed that" that i was able to afford to go as an adult but a few. It has to be real special.

I would've LOVED to have been there in 2013 when we played Stanford.

I got see Daniel Bryan win it all at WM, but the night after is definitely the best event i have EVER been to. I don't think anything will top that for me.

I feel like saying it's better on TV isn't the same as it's easier to watch on TV.

I don't go to Athens anymore because it's an all day thing. Yes it's easier to watch at home but nothing beats a meaningful game in person.

And I'm a snob. If the seats ain't baller, ehhh.

That said I know you @1BadBamaFan @Silkk @jadillac etc. Have been to a lot of games so I get it.
