I've been :patrice: about going to The LSU/Bama game .

I get the ticket prices which are about the same as what I paid for my tickets for the Red River game last year. But the hotel room rates that weekend are ridiculous :francis:

Not even football related, but college basketball at Auburn is about to hit another level. #1 recruiting class as of right now for 2017. Had a couple of nice recruiting classes before that. I'm looking as forward to that as I am football. Charles Barkley should be proud.
Bruce Pearl still y'all coach? Sanctions coming

Kary Vincent Jr., the No. 22-ranked prospect in the class of 2017, is headed to Baton Rouge.

The nation's No. 2-ranked cornerback committed to LSU on Sunday, over Ohio State, Texas, Florida State and Texas A&M. Vincent's father, Kary Vincent Sr., played wide receiver at Texas A&M.

Vincent made his commitment public through Twitter, but the decision was not a surprise to the Tigers' staff or LSU fans who have followed Vincent's recruitment.

"I actually silently committed to LSU my first time over there," Vincent said. "It's family over there. I feel at home with the guys. I think Coach [Les] Miles will be there a long time, despite what people say. I know LSU is a place that can develop me to be the best player on and off the field."

The No. 4-ranked prospect in the state of Texas is the 16th commitment for LSU, which boasted the fourth-ranked recruiting class prior to Vincent's verbal. The Texas 200-meter champion is the third top-25 prospect to commit to LSU, joining No. 14 Austin Deculus and No. 17Tyler Shelvin, and the 11th ESPN 300 verbal overall.

The state of Texas remains a fertile recruiting ground for LSU. In the past three classes, LSU has signed seven ESPN 300 prospects from Texas, including starters Jamal Adams and Maea Teuhema from the Dallas/Fort Worth area, but the 2017 class will eclipse all prior. Vincent becomes the sixth ESPN 300 commitment for Miles and staff from the Lone Star State. That list includes Grant Delpit and Jhamon Ausbon, who will play their senior seasons at IMG Academy in Florida.

With Under Armour All-America Game selection Vincent on the verbal list, LSU is not only in line for a third top-five class in four years but also in the conversation for No. 1 overall, with a number of highly ranked prospects still on the board, including No. 6 Dylan Moses, No. 7 Marvin Wilson, No. 9 and Alabama verbal Alex Leatherwood, No. 54 K'Lavon Chaisson and No. 87 Todd Harris.
