nikka its reported LA asked him how they'd play together. Kobe isnt a moron. Stop hating:dahell:.

They also reported he said him and Aldridge would the focal point...which is what I'm talking about:what:

No way should Kobe be a focal point, when he's been the focal point for the last 2 years while healthy, and played horribly on offense:dahell:

The focal point should be Aldridge and the young nucleus....Kobe should be taking a backseat until he proves he can get back to at least an average level offensively. Again, Clarkson was better offensively than healthy Kobe was last season.

Trust me I get what you're saying but that was years ago and Pau's name+ the Lakers is toxic right now. Its like me trying to lure investors to Malaysia Airlines. It was a good airline but here I am in meetings and I'm bringing up the plane(370) that went missing and has yet to be found.
LMA ask Kobe how things would go on the court not in the Front office. If LMA ask Mitch/Jim how would our dynamic work and they said Pau...I would agree with you.

If the Lakers had a few fans in the meeting and LMA ask the few fans, how would our dynamic be between us and their response was like Pau...I would agree with you.

Kobe/Pau = 2 back to back rings. That's all the Lakers can really sell LMA on when it comes to anything proven basketball wise. This was a long shot from jump. The Lakers brand and prestige were the only things that made this meeting happen. Sure wasn't the 61 losses and unproven talent. Spurs is his best fit and a no brainer.

:lupe:

Maybe getting Aldridge would be a sign and trade situation in which the Blazers take back the Morris Twins and picks.

Cleveland still has to move Haywood's contract.

I doubt the Knicks would want them.

More than likely.Better than getting nothing back in return.

Like I said, Markief is capable of putting up 18 7 and 4 & Marcus is a good bench player.

He can get you 11-12 ppg off the bench.

I like Markieff and I think he is a good player. I just think Marcus isn't good and drags him down. It hurts his value because they essentially have to be on the same team.

LA wouldn't have even met with LA if all we had was the young guys. Your crazy if you think Kobe should take a back seat to some rookies...when has it ever worked that way.
