I still don't see a gm ballsy enough to take Porzingis top 3 knowing the backlash (I know Hinkie but I think his rosters set enough that he knows he needs a guard and goes predictable for once )

So let's say for the sake of argument that Minnesota takes Towns and LA takes Porzingis or Russell, what would Philly do?

I'd assume Hinkie would take Okafor and try to trade him right?

If he is, he's a p*ssy, but at 4 the choice woulda been easy since he, even now, only runs the kind of offense that would only work for KG.

Having the options he has only highlights how dumb he was to trade a future first for Payne. In a perfect world, he brings Bjelica over too and now you have Bjelica /Towns/KG/Dieng /Payne /Bennett who are all gonna wanna play. Completely unnecessary

I'd keep a major close eye on where Bjelica goes because unfortunately I don't think we sign him, so he'll be a chip on draft night for sure.

Fam, if he drafted Porzingis 1 he'd be eviscerated Even if the kid turns out to be the best player in the draft, he'd get destroyed from now till whenever Porzingis pans out. I can't blame him on this one, if he had the 3rd pick you'd definitely be taking him.

The Payne trade was retarded, but it also speaks volumes about Bennett

Hinkie went out to see him in Spain, and now we got Philly media praising Porzingis the closer it gets to the draft, sounds like somebody may be floating info out there to get fans ready to accept it

Yeah he's the only one I can see.Knicks are too concerned to reach mediocrity as fast as possible to wait on him

I like embiid more than okafor. Unless the stories of work ethic from Philly is true. Could be interesting. okafor, noel plus Russell. I would if I was Philly do embiid, porzingis and flip noel

I like Justin Anderson from Virginia here. We need a SG. Who knows how Wes Mathews responds after his surgery. And Afflalo could opt out and be a free agent this summer (he wasn't all that impressive anyway, we should have kept Wil Barton).
