I....would prefer another team besides the Lakers take that gamble on Porzingis. I want him to be good, but he's too raw and unknown and has very high bust potential.

Minny, Philly, and Orlando can offer the adjustment time he needs... away from the spotlight of a big market.

The Wolves need to draft Towns based on what they have and where the league has headed but I wouldn't mind if they took Russell based on the stuff @Malta was saying. I do think that a PG who was average, and put up 16 ppg and 7 assists would make a world of difference for the team.

I was with @tremonthustler1 on Rubio and his importance to the team and he really is good at his job, but its not good enough to get the team over the hump. Rubio will have us competitive because he is a good PG, but for the Wolves to make that next step, I think an upgrade at point is the most important change

It's dumb as hell to follow draft rumors seriously.Each one that comes out contradicts the one prior.

One day an exec says Okafors slipping to 4 the next day another exec says noway he slips to 4

Mudiay went from going 4 or 5 to possibly top 3 now he's back 4-6

Porzingis went from 7-10 to possibly top 3 then back to 7-10 now back to top 3

It's crazy and mostly bs..no team is really gonna leak what direction they're going

Everyone ain't gotta be Hakeem in the paint, for one.

Two, he has good touch at the rim.

Three, he has a good feel for feeling out the defenders position and making the appropriate move to score.

Four, he's a good passer out of the post, whether you believe it or not

Five, ain't many low post scorers out there in general

Instincts, feel, touch around the basket. Can make the short jump shot and the bank shot. He doesn't let double teams fluster him or rush his decisions. These are things Howard, Drummond, Deandre, etc still can't grasp. He is very fluid and comfortable down there.

He will have time to refine the "post master" level of skills because he will come in with advanced fundamentals.

Gonna have to take your brehs word for it, got the Malta cosign too.

Can't say I'm not concerned though especially when he's been built up since high school as the "Next Shaq." I just don't want to draft based off of hype, that's all. Maybe I let that hype get to me when I was watching that video and didn't see hat cats were talking about.

Truthfully I have no idea how he's gonna translate off YouTube clips he could be great for all I know but sometimes teams put too much stock into shooting over a chair

Saric is a 4 in the same vein as Lamar Odom, he really can't shoot that well at the moment, good playmaker and a dude that could maybe knock down some 3s in the future. They would probably never be able to play Saric, Nerlens and Embiid together, even with shooters at the 1 & 2, there would be too much spacing issues. If they take Porzingis, they could play Saric/Embiid together because of the fact Porzingis would be the floor spacer from the four.

The more I think about it, the more sense it makes for them to take Porzingis and then flip Nerlens for a PG. Drafting him means Mudiay is there at 6, and they have enough assets to make trading for him a breeze, they could probably get him and McLemore or Stauskas back if they offered Nerlens.

Mudiay is not enough value for Nerlens trade wouldn't happen And @ Mclemore or Stauskas being included in the deal

I think you're too attached breh, Hinkie will move him if he can get a nice return IMO. And you have to think he's the most likely man to get traded if they draft Porzingis, they're trying to buyout Saric's contract and Embiid has more potential. Nerlens / Saric / Embiid is nothing but spacing issues even with a PG & SG that can shoot, clogged paint for days, and you didn't trade Payton for Saric just to bring him off the bench.
