When you look at the Knicks... what do you see as their best and worst scenarios -- barring one of the top 3 falling.

The worst scenario has to be taking Kaminsky at 4 straight up, right? Please tell me it can't get worse than that. :feedme::mjcry::sadcam:
Worst case scenario is Lyles at 4.

I wouldn't support Kaminsky at 4 either, but Kaminsky won't embarrass himself out there. Lyles might be overwhelmed by a selection that high

*hyperventilates*

Yeah, lyles at the 4 might legit ruin my life, especially when he'll be there in a region where you could feasibly move down.

Can someone explain the parameters around making trades on draft night?

- can anyone be traded?
- does a pick from both teams have to be involved?
- why was it that they had to wait 30 days to trade wiggins for love last year again? is it cuz it didn't happen on draft night?

what else?

It all depends on the team and the player's rights.

Both teams don't have to deal picks.

The 30 day situation was all financial related. Wiggins' rights were worth $0. Wiggins under a rookie scale contract was worth some money, enough to make salaries match up, hence the wait

Only squad that would make sense, the Blazers pick at 23, this dude has been viewed as a lottery pick for months now.

Alex Kennedy was saying they might deal 23 for 35 & 37 from Philly. They might be trying to have as much cap space as possible in case Aldrige decides to leave.

Breh, he's way more athletic than Gobert.

Yes, but Gobert has already proved he can stand in the paint against centers and turn that shyt away. Plus he's got a 9'7 standing reach. That shyt is MONSTROUS - it allows him to stay on his feet and blocking shots. It's crazy.

The bar has been set already for defensive bigs, Gawdbert is the standard (taller & longer than Trill). Will Trill be as good as Rudy :mjpls:
No, Rudy has higher BBIQ on both ends than Trill. Trill has defensive versatility. Can guard damn near everyone. Can play the joker and can protect the rim but it's the in between that gets me thinking he might not be the defender he's hyped to be. The little things that Chandler does so well, WCS doesn't do. You can say well, Towns did it but what about his Soph or Fresh year. Defensively, you are looking at a D. Jordan type defender with a lot more defensive versatility but without true center size. That means a lot in the NBA. If you are too weak to defend centers in the paint, who will guard the center for you? This another Ben Wallace situation maybe? :mjpls:

Think about this, he's lighter than Al Horford. Dude is Noah's weight but doesn't have the BBIQ or toughness Noah has. Even then, Noah has had health issues in the NBA and was much more durable in college than WCS. I am not drinking the WCS koolaid. He's going to be a role player, maybe a good one but he's not Tyson Chandler. He doesn't have the great BBIQ Tyson has, in fact, he limited in that like DeAndre. I can't front, homie is an extremely gifted athlete. His lateral quickness is something guards want much less a center. To move that well is freaky.

Gobert is longer and taller -
7'9" wingspan vs 7'3"
9'7" standing reach vs 9'3".

Gobert is already the best defensive big in the league, it's going to take a lot for Trill to catch him :yeshrug:

Knicks lost, but they will still draft a guy with star power

I cant imagine them using the 4th pick on lyles or kiminski.....lyles shouldnt even be in the lottery imo
