Knicks might end up with the best talent in this draft ... damn

I still feel strong bust feelings with this guy, and thats without really scouting him

Darko ruined it for everyone
it's not just Darko. Look at overseas lotto bigs since then. The track record isn't great

Biedrins
Fran Vasquez
Yaroslav Korolev
Andrea Bargnani
Saer Sene
Yi Jianlian
Kanter (figuring it out)
Valanciunas (jury's still out)
Biyombo

It's usually the lesser heralded guys who wind up doing well

He has a very real chance of being a bust, I think going to the Knicks is one of the worst situations for him because of Melo and the fact he'd probably have to play a lot of minutes at center. He really should be paired with a center that can guard the bigger bodies in the league.
Phil likes traditional centers, he could always throw some of that capspace at someone

Is there a reason they arent linked to Deandre at all?

Draft Kristaps, sign Deandre

That frontline would be :whoo:

Or lower tier, R. Lopez or Asik?

Very true, just feels like we've been down this road before

Going to the Knicks increases his bust factor to me for some reason ... if he doesnt perform by year two, he might be ruined

Knicks shouldn't even pick him hopefully the Nuggets get enamored with him and trade #7 and the knicks pick (whichever is lowest between the Knicks/Nuggets pick) in 2016 for the right to Porzingis...

Seem's to make more since for the Knicks and they could still get a player they like this draft and have a pick next season and the Nuggets can get another Euro star to put between Nurkic and Galanari....But they will probably pick Henoza.

Porzingis and Monroe are 4/5's (should Phil sign him). Interchangeable

I like the idea of a defensive/rebounding big next to him

Deandre ideally, or Lopez/Asik perhaps

Monroe doesnt do much for me, maybe its just because of his situation
