I hope not, like Malta said the Knicks aren't a good situation for him. He's really raw,and will be coming to a team that doesn't have a lot of talent, with high expectations placed upon his shoulders; definitely not ideal for both parties.

real talk u guys should just try and trade melo :yeshrug:hes got that NTC..but phil should call up his bytch and say melo for #2? :troll:

Those are probably a little embilleshed but ya the guy is really long. Also the way european clubs play D and because the lane is a trapzeoid, shot blocking numbers are greatly misrepresented. Porzingis should be a great shot blocker from day one.

On Porzingis I don't know how official those are. When I was in 8th grade I was at a bball camp and they did measurements on the first day. Most of the more talented guys didn't show up so I was one of the taller guys there but I couldn't have been more than 6'2 w/o shoes (I'm 27 and about 6'3 w/o shoes. I know I've grown since than too) Anyway, they wanted to make it seem like they had some big guys so the guy stopped the measure thing before it even touched my hair. I measured out 6'3.5 w/o shoes :rudy:

I doubt porzingis is taller than Gobert but who knows, maybe he has grown.

I doubt they're embellishing, guy on his right is 7'1"

See I don't know because you're right about that pic but I saw a bunch of games from that tournament(they were broadcast online) and he didn't look huge.
Like DeAndre or Gobert or even Bogut. When they are out there, you can tell how big they are, they tower over 6'9 guys and make them look like kids. Porzingis was big but I would've said 6'11 if you ask me.
So maybe I'm tripping or maybe he has grown since than but I don't know. We will see in summer league probably

DeAndre Jordan is 6'9.75" without shoes, for comparisons sake that is only 3/4th of an inch more than Dwight Howard, and here's what Dwight looks like next to Brook Lopez who was 6'11.25" without shoes -

No way Porzingis is only 6'11", he looks freakishly tall and the Euro teams are generally more accurate with their heights (usually without shoes) than NBA teams. That guy next to him is a legit 7'1" and here's a pic of him with Arvydas Sabonis -

He's a legit 7 footer (7'0+" without shoes)

Also, DeAndre and Dwight are the same height as Kanter, and Kanter looks tiny next to Goatbert

Dwight & DeAndre are also shorter than Nerlens

I doubt it, Kristaps has the second brother theory working for him though, his older brother was a professional player :lupe: the Second brother theory states that the younger of the two has a much higher chance of being a good player.

i endorse that theory in sports and in academics if the older sibling is/was a good athlete or is/was smart and a good student :lupe:

Former Kentucky player and projected first-round pick Karl-Anthony Towns said there’s “no truth” to reports that the Minnesota Timberwolves told him he’s going to be the first pick in this year’s NBA draft. “It’s not true whatsoever,” he said. “I haven’t had any promises. Believe me if I had any promises, I would right now be getting fat and eating a large ice cream. But right now I’m still just trying to find out what team I’ll play for and I’m still stressed out waiting for Thursday to come about.”

ill spit out whatever im drinking if minny takes porzingis simply because of that video

I guess you're right. And I'm surprised DJ is so "small" , i know his wingspan and build makes him seem larger but he manhandled most bigs last season like they were his sons.

He also gets the benefit of playing with Blake & CP3 though, have to imagine it would be a lot easier to deal with him without those two. There are very few legit 7 footers in the league, but they're on the comeback trail :wow:
