thats what everyone thought would happen with ASU/A&M. instead it turned out to be a defensive dogfight because of the d-line domination. expect the same in TN/Oklahoma. both teams weakness is the o-line.

Michigan State is an elite team, and I don't see how anyone can deny that, like Ohio State, they can't help who they play in the conference

major difference. ohio state recruits at an elite caliber. michigan state doesn't. did you see how easily ohio state dispatched oregon? thats what happens when a well coached team filled with 4 and 5 star athletes plays a well coached team with 3 star athletes.

michigan state is a product of its enviroment. the weak big 10 has propped them up as a contender when they really ain't. if they ever played a team like alabama in the playoff, they'd get romped.

They beat Georgia. Stanford, and Baylor in bowl games over the past few years, how is that mediocre

unless its the bcs title game or playoffs, i don't put ANY weight in bowl games. usually its about who wants it moreso than who's actually better. for example, my vols dominated iowa in a bowl game last january. we were up 35-7 in the half. if we didn't get our foot off the gas pedal, we coulda scored 70 on them.

were we really a 35-7 lead better than Iowa? no. iowa obviously didn't wanna be there. while our guys treated the game like it was the superbowl cause it was our first bowl game in forever.

I don't put stock in meaningless bowl games. And as an Alabama fan you should know better. Your squad pretty much never shows up for bowls unless a national title is involved.
