QBs - HUGE edge to Tennessee. I don't even think it bears argument. Dobbs is simply better. He's more explosive, has more arm talent, and is more proven.

bro, you said QB's---plural.

We have a backup QB who beat ya'll last year & won a BCS bowl game against y'alls nemesis Bama, a QB who has walked on at TWO major programs, and a 3rd stringer Cody tthomas, who started the entire 2nd half of last season for us.

Matter of fact, to this point, how is Dobbs more proven than any of them?

TN gave up 30 to bowling Green at home but hold Oklahoma to 17 :laff:

2 starters in the secondary missed game 1, they'll be back. Also our DB coach missed the game, he'll be back. I'm not reading much into the Bowling Green game. They play alot faster than anyone in the country (they're like a mini-baylor). Plus their QB (Matt Johnson) is a legit NFL prospect. He's better than anyone Oklahoma has and quite frankly we won't play another QB as good as him the rest of the year.

If you watched the game, rather than the box score, you woulda seen Bowling Green's QB killed us almost exclusively on deep balls outside the hashes along the sideline. Bowling Green was running 9 routes all game. They did this because we played press man to man coverage with a single high safety. They didn't score 30 pts by marching down the field on us. If you saw the box score, their 3rd down completion percentage was terrible. They scored 30 on alot of deep balls into coverage where the QB just made phenomenal throws. If Baker Mayfield does that, then hats off to him. But I doubt it.

I watched Oklahoma's game. Their passing attack is not built on the deep ball like Bowling Green. They do alot of short passes to the perimeter and rely on their athletes to pick yards after the catch. That can work against mediocre athletes at Akron. It won't work against Tennessee. Oklahoma is not scoring 30 on Tennessee.

If you do a search on here(from last years cfb thread, you will find 1 year ago I watched Tenn 2014 Spring Game and commented that Dobbs would be trouble if he played us in Norman.

I was propping him long ago b/c I knew what I saw from him.....but my point is, he's not more proven/accomplished than our QB's.

Breh, give it to me real. While i enjoy Oregon's last week in the top 10 this year. How bad is Oregon going to get killed by MSU. I need as many reality checks as I can get this week. And I know you like to give them..

michigan state is garbage this year breh. ya'll will dominate em saturday.

Nah, our secondary is bad. We lost our Left and Right starting corners plus our free safety. It is bad man. Front 7 is actually pretty decent this year. Tho to be fair MSU's secondary is not great either.

But even with a half decent front 7, we can't tackle for shyt. Most peole will say the ducks D is always bad. This D is really bad by Ducks standards. We had like 6 true freshmens play last week on D.

Breh, I have watched a lot of Oregon ball in my life. Defended Oegon's D after the Wazzu game last year(Some of the worst D ball I have ever watched in my life). This D is just bad(Mostly young). It was fukking comical re watching the last ducks game.

But ya, if it is a shoot out we might have a chance.
