I wouldnt have been in favor of us in the title game either. Glad it didn't happen because it would have been just like the year before with Bama being undeserving of facing LSU in the title game when they didnt even win their own division.
If yall played Notre Dame (which you wouldn't have, I think they were #2), yall would've have won I think. It would've just been a score of like 13-10

you wish. if there are two 1-loss teams in the SEC West, then the one that doesn't win the conference will make the playoff if the ACC Champ or Big 10 champ is not undefeated. And if the Pac 12 champ or Big 12 champ has 2 losses.

the pecking order of conferences pretty much requires that a 1 loss non-SEC champ SEC West team make it over a 1 loss ACC Champ and 1 loss Big 10 champ (given the disparity in conference strength). and a 1 loss SEC West team will make it over a 2 loss Pac 12 champ and 2 loss Big 12 champ.

STRENGTH OF SCHEDULE. there is no excuse for Ohio State to suffer an L given their schedule. If Alabama for example goes thru their brutal schedule with only 1 loss (lets say to Auburn for example) and Auburn wins the SEC with only 1 loss. A 1 loss Alabama whose only loss is to the SEC Champ Auburn will make it into the playoff. We saw this in 2013. Alabama was #1 all year. They lost to Auburn on the kick 6. Auburn won the SEC and played Florida State in the national championship game. If the playoff had been around that year, Alabama woulda made a 4 team playoff along with Auburn and Florida State.
Ohio state had a loss last year :dahell:

The SEC was EXPOSED last year homie.

Not only by OSU beating big bad Bama, But also the team your hyping up AUBURN got beat By Wisky ( A team the buckeyes beat 59-0)

Michigan State also beat a beloved team in Baylor that everybody thought should have been in the Playoff. The Big Ten is MUCH stronger than many want to give credit.

We can also talk about how the SEC was EXPOSED earlier in the season by the ACC:mjlol:

Damn Tyner out for the season for Oregon. @Brady-Carter feel for you breh. From BR

Oregon running back Thomas Tyner will miss the 2015 season after having successful shoulder surgery on Friday, according to his father, John Tyner.

The junior former five-star recruit out of Aloha High School rushed for 573 yards and five touchdowns last season as the primary backup to Royce Freeman.

Tyner, who started the national title game, was expected to compete for the starting job this season. His loss could force senior Byron Marshall to return to running back after spending most of last season at receiver.

Tyner injured his shoulder while returning a kickoff last season against Washington. UW linebacker Shaq Thompson raced downfield untouched and hit Tyner square on the shoulder. Tyner continued to play and had three carries for zero yards before exiting the game and missing the following contest at California before returning to action against Stanford.

Lingering pain and discomfort led to Tyner undergoing surgery. His father said the procedure went well and Tyner is expected to make a full recovery and return to action in 2016.

John Tyner said that naturally his son is down about missing the season but is looking forward to next year.

Marshall, who led the team last season with 74 receptions and 1,003 receiving yards, in 2013 led the team with 1,038 yards rushing and 14 touchdowns.

We can also talk about how the SEC was EXPOSED earlier in the season by the ACC:mjlol:

Exposed is a STRONG word and in my opinion, the incorrect word. The ACC wins over the SEC were only over teams from the EAST division which everybody knows was the weaker division of the conference. Not only that, the better teams in those matchups won. Nobody thought UF would beat FSU, UK to beat Louisville, or USCe to beat Clemson. Georgia was the only one who dropped the ball and they choked like always :lolbron:. One thing though i'll admit, people who live by that conference pride shyt would have been pumping there chest out screaming "S-E-C" had the SEC won rivalry week last year so I can't forget to add that.

The SEC as a whole and it's conference perception was overrated last year. That was obvious from the jump, but everybody didn't see it until the bowl games. That was more shocking with how Ole Miss and MSU were rocked to sleep. Other than that, the other losses weren't bad losses. I'm just trying to add perspective, I don't care either way :yeshrug:

I agree that perspective is key.
But that works both ways.

The SEC got worked during Rivalry week and the Bowl games.

They should NOT get credit for playing in a conference that CLEARLY isn't as dominant as it once was :manny:
