because the best players on the field that night were stolen from SEC country. Ezekiel Elliot (missouri) ran wild on bama, Joey Bosa (Florida) was in the backfield every play, and Von Bell (Georgia) made the game saving interception on the hail mary pass.

without nikkas from the south bringing speed to the lousy big 10, ya'll nikkas would still be gettin blown out in national title games. see 2007 and 2008 title games. :mjpls:

That was Tyvis Powell from Ohio who made that interception not Bell. Tyvis also was Defensive mvp in the natty chip game. It was the O line all from Ohio who opened up them holes for Zeke. It was Devin Smith from Ohio leaving Bama secondary in the dust. It was Cardale from Ohio throwing them bombs and running over Bama all american safety. It was Micheal Bennett from Ohio who was in the backfield all game not Bosa, and it was Darron Lee from Ohio who won defensive mvp that game.

FYI, I posted this after national signing day. its still quite relevant. In the last 2 years, only Alabama and FSU have outrecruited us.

Yahoo Sports: Rivals.com 2014 Team Recruiting Rankings
Yahoo Sports: Rivals.com 2015 Team Recruiting Rankings

Tennessee in the last 2 years has recruited SIX 5 star prospects and TWENTY-NINE 4 star prospects. No other school has more 4 star prospects in that timespan and the only schools with more 5 star prospects is Alabama with TEN and Florida State with EIGHT.

Tennessee doesn't need everyone of their 5 star and 4 star recuits to be studs. Its only needs a percentage of them to live up to their billing and we'll have a great football team next year. The vols are gonna be a problem. For the next couple of years. We've just got too much talent NOT to be good.

To change the hostility levels itt, @Swagnificent how far do you feel last year's Tennessee team would've went if Dobbs was trained as the starter going in instead of Worley

we woulda beaten Florida at least. I think we go 8-5 with Dobbs starting from day 1. we still lose to Oklahoma. it was the first road game for all the freshmen we relied on. game probably woulda been closer but still an L. georgia would probably still be a L. worley played really great that game. if he didn't get hurt in the 2nd half, we probably hang on. who knows maybe Dobbs woulda also got his throwing hand nicked and woulda sat out a couple of critical drives. ole miss would still be a L but probably alot closer in the 2nd half.

I remember the Georgia game Worley looked a lot better than Dobbs

big 12 - "we are accepting mediocrity and not expanding or getting a title game" (paraphrase) :youngsabo:

no link but yahoo is reporting from media day

Big 12 commisioner says no changes coming this season

Big 12 commision Bob Bowlsby [ironic name] said nothing about his league's football format would change this season. Last season, TCU and Boyalor were left out of the College Football Playoff after being named co-champions of the league.

The Big 12 is not going to have a championship game.

Thats it. Finito. Stop asking.

The Commisioner of Big 12 said:
I think we'll have the prerogative at some point in time to consider and implement a playoff game if we choose to, but our ADs have been very thoughtful about it and our CEOs have been very thoughtful about it. We've put in place a tiebreaker that will ensure that not only do all our schools play each other, but the title isn't going to be decided by who you didn't play.

man fold that shyt :heh:

send baylor and TCU to SEC, send oklahoma, Kansas, to the B1G, send WVU to the ACC, send TT, OKSt and iowa ST to the AAC, and texas independant

He is just like some of the SEC fans who are in denial that their conference is not the big dog anymore because they haven't brought in a national championship in the last two years.
