Of course I knew the answer that would come. But it's funny because all of the SEC talk about about the conference two years ago. Now since Mizzou won the East title back to back years, stans have moved the goal post to say that only the West is the reason for the claimed dominance (even though Florida under Urban was 1/2 of the reason for the run).

And no, Ole Miss does not have as much talent as any team in the country. One booster bought recruiting class does not make them talented like that. A&M's talent is ok, and so is Auburn's. Only teams in the West with elite talent from recruiting the past 3 or so classes are LSU and Bama.

guess that booster is back cause they're #9 in the country right now. http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/recruiting/teamrank/2016/all/all

plus top 20 classes are nothing to sneeze at. like i said earlier, only alabama, lsu, ohio state, and florida state have been top 10 each of the last 3 years.

in the last 3 years, according to 247's composite team rankings, ole miss has had the #8 class in 2013, #15 class in 2014, and the #17 class in 2015. thats as good as Clemson (15, 18, 8) and Oklahoma (16, 14, 15) in the same span.

Saw that, i swear these sec nikkas is smoking crack.

sec championship has been more important and competitive than the national title for several years. 2008-09 Florida/Alabama come to mind and 2012 Alabama/Georgia. hell in 2011, LSU/Alabama regular season game was more important the sec championship.

This ain't the BCS no more, ain't no getting the benefit of the doubt and being put in the chip game. Actually got to have the talent and toughness to win against the top teams in the country back to back in the playoffs. Your conference champ didn't get it done against the sorry B1G team OSU.The sorry B1G champ OSU got the chip. That don't sit to well with you huh. Not worried about my team, we'll be a lot better than last years team. Lets see if your team can win the garbage sec east finally :francis:. Or is that big 12 middle of the road team gonna win it again :mjlol:

oklahoma is my pick to win the big 12. they're gonna get bum-rushed at neyland though.

Players matter and those teams aint win shyt last year. No conf chip, no natty chip, no bowl game :mjlol:

all 3 were young. if you look up who they lost, almost all the key contributors are back. lsu and ole miss are a QB away from being in the playoff. a&m is another solid recruiitng on defense from it as well. like i said, one flukey year doesn't change the sec's place in college football.

what were you saying 7 of the last 9 years when we had the natty and dominated the bowl season?

i'll go with the 7 years of dominance vs. the one outlier season.

mizzou has a super easy schedule so its hard to say they'll be out of it. but they're reign of luck is about to end. they lost harold brantley who was supposed to take over for shane ray and markus golden as the next great Mizzou DL. they dismissed marcus loud who was supposed to also star for them. unless they pull another rabbit outta the hat, they'll no longer have a dominant pass rush. i think they fall off finally and go 8-4. they'll need to try to lose more than those games considering how weak their out of conference schedule is and the fact they keep getting lucky about who they pull outta the west.

we play them in november at the tail end of the schedule at thier place. i think that game decides the east. georgia has bama and auburn plus they play us in knoxville. plus you know they'll find a way to choke a game they should win. I think tennessee goes into missouri and drills them to clinch the east title.

Like usual, I am pretty drunk posting in this thread. So I am going big up Charles Nelson(True Freshman last year). Dude is listed at 5'8, mofo is more like 5'6. But god damn, name me a player who has the heart charles does, or plays as many positions as him? Coach Neal has him playing CB this year, dude does it all. RB,WR,CB, and Kick off/Punt return . Charles change of direction in traffic is fukking insane. Love this dude.. :wow:

Only a 3* star dude out of florida, love this dude. Dude showed up at his UF visit and tried to race everyone in the 40. Dude is insane.

Charles is that dude who is in your crew always starting fights, or finshing fights defended you. No fukks given.. :wow:

the east is soft. the dominance of the sec comes from the fact 5 of the teams in the west can legitmately be considered top 10 teams in the COUNTRY. Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Ole Miss, and Texas A&M have as much talent as anyone. they all recruit at an elite level. add Georgia and now Tennessee under Butch Jones and you have 7 premier programs in the SEC.

every other conference has 2-3 premier programs.
Realistically the 5 West teams you listed either could win the championship or have like 1 piece to go

Speaking of, let's just do a talent comparison between AU and OSU

QB: Overall OSU, but Jeremy is gonna be better than anyone that starts
RB: opposite of the QB situation, so it goes to Auburn
HB/TE: Auburn
WR: Auburn (yall lost your best receiver and second or third best if I'm correct) &
OL: Auburn
DL: Auburn is deeper, but it isn't proven so OSU
LB: Auburn
Secondary: OSU

This Jeremy Johnson hype is crazy. What has he done that seperates him from Brandon Harris. Everyone talks about Johnson as being the best QB in the SEC while LSU biggest problem is QB. Harris threw for more TD, more yardage, and is also coming off a good Spring like Johnson. I don't get it.

Name Auburn's projected starting 5 and you can refute my point

Hint: RG is Braden Smith

if you don't know what the hell you're talking about, then you can't say anything about what I'm talking about

edit: anybody that wants to argue my post, actually tell me what you disagree with instead of being this dikkhead, the OL is the only advantage I listed that in my opinion could be a push

Jeremy looked better in one half vs Arkansas than Harris looked at any point last season
