But how can you play in the mighty SEC and have an easy schedule?

the east is soft. the dominance of the sec comes from the fact 5 of the teams in the west can legitmately be considered top 10 teams in the COUNTRY. Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Ole Miss, and Texas A&M have as much talent as anyone. they all recruit at an elite level. add Georgia and now Tennessee under Butch Jones and you have 7 premier programs in the SEC.

every other conference has 2-3 premier programs.

See Joe Shad on CFB live picked right back up with the sec nut hugging. Talking bout a 3 loss sec team would make the playoffs :deadmanny:.

sec champ is a lock to make the playoff. one year of flukey bowl results doesn't change the fact we have dominanted college football for the last decade.

ohio state needs to be worried about catching a loss. ur schedule is so soft that one loss could have ya'll put out like fsu almost had happen to them last year. :youngsabo:

Of course I knew the answer that would come. But it's funny because all of the SEC talk about about the conference two years ago. Now since Mizzou won the East title back to back years, stans have moved the goal post to say that only the West is the reason for the claimed dominance (even though Florida under Urban was 1/2 of the reason for the run).

And no, Ole Miss does not have as much talent as any team in the country. One booster bought recruiting class does not make them talented like that. A&M's talent is ok, and so is Auburn's. Only teams in the West with elite talent from recruiting the past 3 or so classes are LSU and Bama.

I think Auburn will show what they've been building the last couple of years. The D-line and O-line will be good, both sides. We have a bunch of receivers ready to go right now with a top draft pick in Duke Williams. A stable of running backs. A couple of experienced defensive backs but some talented freshmen coming in. LBs solid......The QB situation is set for the next 3 years at least. Jeremy Johnson this year and after he leaves (after this season or next) Sean White can sling the rock. As with any team barring injuries.....

the dominance of the sec comes from the fact 5 of the teams in the west can legitmately be considered top 10 teams in the COUNTRY. Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Ole Miss, and Texas A&M have as much talent as anyone.

(1) LSU is the only team other than Alabama, Ohio State, and Florida State to have a top 10 recruiting class each of the last 3 years. They have as much talent as anyone in the country. They're gonna be a problem this season.

(2) Texas A&M has also dominated recruiting the last couple of years. They have as much talent as anyone on offense. That defense is getting better. Its only a matter of time before those stud recruits pay off.

(3) Ole Miss have 5 potential first round picks on their roster. LT Laremy Tunsil, DT Robert Nkemdiche, WR Laquon Treadwell, TE Evan Engram, and S Tony Conner. If healthly, they're as talented as anyone in the country.

players matter bruh. and the SEC simply has better players. we dominate recruiting. we dominate the NFL draft. its simple mathematics.

This ain't the BCS no more, ain't no getting the benefit of the doubt and being put in the chip game. Actually got to have the talent and toughness to win against the top teams in the country back to back in the playoffs. Your conference champ didn't get it done against the sorry B1G team OSU.The sorry B1G champ OSU got the chip. That don't sit to well with you huh. Not worried about my team, we'll be a lot better than last years team. Lets see if your team can win the garbage sec east finally :francis:. Or is that big 12 middle of the road team gonna win it again :mjlol:
