Jay Glazier reports that Rolando McClain was fined $15,000 1 week before he was suspended. Glazier: "Players there, they're telling me this has been an ongoing problem with Rolando McClain. The tipping point was last week. Somebody asked him, 'Do you even care?' He responded, 'I've got 4 million reasons not to care.'"

:smh: We have to get rid of the cancers on the team ASAP. We gotta start all over on defense, just get rid or trade McClain, Kelly, Seymour, etc. for some much needed draft picks or some young talent on defense. Team is gonna suffer with them cap killers. :smh:

We had looked decent to a potential contender these past couple seasons...and now this season has brought us back to reality...one big...

:gladbron: Oh shyt the Gruden to the Raiders are true. I didn't know that, I thought it was just a bad rumor just out there. But, I doubt he would want the job, unless they try to give him more power with management decisions, I think he would want to re-up with us, but I doubt it though. But, with his name and how he has always coached, he can definitely get the best out of practically everyone one. :obama:

I don't understand why Gruden would want this job when Philly, KC (better weapons), possibly Dallas and Arizona are out there. The raiders cannot afford to pay him more or even close to the 5MM he gets from ESPN.

He wants to be with a team that's close to winning and we're not that.

I hope Mark Davis does not prove he's part II of his father. That sends a fukked up message to the league and soon-to-be head coaches as well as current coaches that you won't get a fair shot to turn around a franchise.

A BIG reason nobody wanted to work for Al Davis

Edit: Add San Diego to that list.... Raider Nation may get their wish to see Gruden again in the AFC West... just not with Oakland

Norfeast groovin…
I'm expecting a spectacular performance that'll get him those MVP looks. This season was in the bushes back in August, we can't move forward til we have a QB, a defense, and some sense of direction. :snoop:

I don't know if I can bare to watch this game tonight brethren.... I'm going to watch til the Donkeys are up 4 TDs...shouldn't take too long with this team :sadcam:

And although I posted the rumor, I'm highly doubting the Raiders can get Gruden too but we don't need Dennis Allen for the sake of continuity when he can't lead ants to his picnic food let alone grown football players. He's spineless, I'm good at reading people and that's what I see from him. He's probably a good person but not a good coach. His defense in denver wasn't that good last year and it's BETTER this year (it's easy too with Von & Dumervil and Bailey) and N.O.'s secondary who he coached a couple years ago was ehhh...

I think a respected coach would consider coming here, it's been a new regime. We got rid of a lot of bad contracts and we have a high draft pick for the new coach to pick a franchise player (hopefully). Other coaches are constantly making DA look incompetant like when Harbough went for it on 4th down leading by like 40 cause DA stacked one side and Harbough sonned him. Other coaches can see how lost he is, so we would be dumb to retain him.

I don't know if this game is even worth watching. If we aren't neck and neck in the game by the 4th quarter I wanna see Pryor get some snaps under center
