FOX's Jay Glazer reports the Raiders are expected to make a "bunch of changes" to their offensive coaching staff as early as Sunday evening.
Glazer believes underwhelming first-year coach Dennis Allen is safe, but implied behind-the-times OC Greg Knapp is as good as gone. Knapp worked extremely hard to earn his walking papers this season, routinely failing to put his players in the best position to succeed. That was embodied by Darren McFadden, who found himself trapped in a zone-blocking scheme that played to his weaknesses and sapped his strengths. Knapp is probably lucky he wasn't let go mid-season.

I'm so happy brehs.. Reggie should try to get Pat Shurmer to replaceCrapp.
No more of that fukking faggit Knapp fukking everything on offense anymore. DA will be safe for another season. better than nothing
I couldn't watch another Knapp lead offense breh, I would have to tap out from football for awhile. I have no choice but to live with the weasel another season, I just hope they make some good hires.
Only positive I can say about DA was that the team was a bit more disciplined early in the season and didn't cause as much penalties. We just need to rebuild through the draft and trade DHB, Moore, and the rest of them butterfinger bums and see if we can get draft picks from them. Release busts like McClain and try to see if we can improve through FA. They will let go of Seymour for certain and Palmer looks like he might be going to, as we will save a shyt load of money, and try to sign an veteran QB in the offseason and have him compete against T-Pry and just go from there. Defense is what we should be focusing on the most. And try to improve the OL too if that's possible, at that faggit Knapp fukking up the OL scheme for no reason and fukking up DMC's running game. And speaking of DMC, I think they should try to restructure his contract and see if he can take a paycut, he is too brittle to be paying him big money that we can't rely on consistently.
‏@VicTafur Asked OC Greg Knapp why he hasn’t used Terrelle Pryor more in red zone, given team’s struggles there …
Knapp: "We haven’t developed as big a red zone package as we would have liked. We’ve been focused on 3rd downs and getting to the red zone."
Raiders expected to fire Greg Knapp - SFGateThe Raiders are expected to fire offensive coordinator Greg Knapp and some other members of the staff this week, league sources confirmed. The offense didn't get on track, especially a running game that came into Sunday ranked 29th in the league (87 yards per game).
Oakland ran for 115 yards against the Chargers, but 49 of those came on Terrelle Pryor scrambles. Darren McFadden, who has struggled with the zone-blocking scheme and hasn't gotten a lot of daylight from his linemen, carried 19 times for 57 yards and finishes the season with a 707 yards at 3.3 yards a pop.
Owner Mark Davis talked with McFadden at midseason about reaching out to Knapp and telling him what type of running plays he liked. And the Raiders have tried to mix in more power-running plays, but it has been a frustrating season.
"I don't want to speak on it anymore," McFadden said. "It is what it is. The season is over now. I am just looking forward to next year."
Goodson ejected: Raiders running back Mike Goodson and Chargers linebacker Takeo Spikes were ejected in the second quarter for getting in a skirmish and not letting go of the others' facemask when officials asked them to do so.
The argument got so heated that Pryor had to grab, wrestle and fling Goodson out of the scrum.
"I love Mike Goodson; that's my guy," Pryor said. "I know that I slammed him, but you can't do that. We were about to score. It's very hard to get down there and score in the NFL and ... we get a 15-yard penalty? I told Mike that he needed to be the bigger man.
"Last year, we had, what, 168 penalties for I don't know how many yards, and we have to be the bigger guy when scuffles like that happen."
It was 163 for 1,358, both NFL records. This year, in rookie head coach Dennis Allen's greatest accomplishment, it's down to 108 for 939.
Turner expects to be fired: Former Oakland head coach and current San Diego head coach Norv Turner expects to be fired Monday. The Chargers (7-9) will miss the playoffs for the third straight season.
"Obviously, we're going to meet with the team and I'm sure they'll start looking for a new coach," said Turner, who has one year left on his contract, at $3 million.
He has been a head coach for 15 years in the NFL and has three double-digit-win seasons.
Briefly: Tony Bergstrom and Lucas Nix split snaps at right guard in place of injured Mike Brisiel (ankle). ... Pryor said injured Carson Palmer helped him a lot to prepare for Sunday's start. Palmer broke down the game plan, gave Pryor six pages of notes and went through San Diego game video as well. ... Raiders defensive end Lamarr Houston had nine tackles and four assists, plus 1 1/2 sacks and two QB hits.
"It looked like the guys believed in me and we moved the ball decent," said Pryor. "I'm very upset with myself because of some of the mistakes I made but you know it happens and I look forward to possibly playing next year and getting better... I'm very sad that we lost, I apologize, and I put it on my shoulders. It's my fault."
"I felt like a leader on the field but there was just some throws that I was down," said Pryor. "I gotta get out of that young stage where I miss a throw - because it happens you miss throws -... I gotta say ‘ok, it's on to the next play'. And I think it carried over a couple times with me and I can't let that happen. I have to be professional and be a leader of the group and I wasn't on a couple plays, and I admit that. Hopefully there's room that I can improve on that."
"Stuff is gonna slow down for me," said Pryor. "I will be great at the quarterback position but I just have to let things slow down for me. Just let it slow down, be calm, be a leader, get to the next play. And if I do that, watch out for us."
ESPN Bill Williamson: Pryor prove himself? I really liked what I saw from Terrelle Pryor on Sunday. He showed leadership, poise and heart.
He is not a finished product, but I think there is something Oakland can work with. There are a lot of young, dynamic quarterbacks in this league. I think Oakland had to make developing Pryor quickly a priority. Carson Palmer is 33, expensive, and not improving.
If Pryor makes big strides in the offseason, I don’t think it would be a terrible idea for Oakland to consider handing him the starting job. This team will be still rebuilding for the next couple of years. Might as well give the kid a chance.
