The stories from the Old Testament is the equivalent to modern day "based on reality" movies about Black people, created by non-Black people.

I've been comparing Ancient Egyptian history with the OT and there's definitely some overlapping; Enough truth to reel some of us in, enough deception to push some of us away.

But notions such as Muhammad being infallible, saying his name during prayers and etc are things I just cannot get down with.

Btw Muhammad (pbuh) isnt viewed as infalliable. He's viewed as a prophet who's human and makes mistakes. One of the greatest human beings to ever walk the earth, but human nonetheless. He didn't win all the battles he fought in either.

As a matter of fact in Surah 80 in the Quran it deals with the fact that Muhammad (pbuh) chose to deal with some powerful tribal leaders over a blind man that came to him to inquire about Islam. It's understandable, since powerful tribal leaders would help to spread Islam and gain influential allies, but the action isn't viewed favorably within the Quran.

@Slaimon Khan Shah would most likely be more knowledgable than me on this topic.

Breh I recommend checking out Jummah at least once.

A few years ago I was a believer of God and Jesus as the son of God, I then moved on from that to a more spiritual approach, I have since left this idea as well. These days as sad as it is to say I don't believe in anything, I feel our lives are not important, there is no destiny, there is nothing. We are just animals on a planet just like any other animal and we are naturally here simply because this planet can sustain life therefore will breed life.

It's a very depressing outlook but my experiences have led me here at this point. I personally feel the human mind loves the fairy tale, they want to be loved and taken care after so your mind will naturally gravitate towards those feelings.

So you're going to let your past experiences lead you down a dark, bleek path? You might as well kill yourself then. Your purpose on earth is fulfilled.
