Sinister fell off hard in the 2nd half. Sequel didn't do a good job recovering either.

Nah @Ironman is legit. He’s my lieutenant. Even tho if I’m peter Parker it’s weird to have iron man as my lieutenant. Anyway, he’s a movie aficionado. Knows his shyt and sees everything. Damn near everything

Breh I loved the first insidious movie but Conjuring one and two>>>>>insidious.

nah breh..that shyt was light work...insidious dealt with 2 themes: astral projection and demonic possession and made it work..grown man being shook but that movie did it ..conjuring didnt help me feel that way nor did i like the feelgood ending of both movies....no one (non demonic) won at the end of insidious

Here’s my problem with insidious now tho, and it’s unfair to that movie: insidious 2 makes insidious 1 less scary

Insidious 2 explained away every single scare in insidious. Seriously. Every. Single. One. And what’s worse, the explanation for said scares wasn’t scary.

What made insidious work is the mystery of it. The shyt that wasn’t explained was bugged and the shyt that was was also bugged. But then part two ignored one of the first rules of horror movies, which is to never explain the scare. Never tell the audience where this thing came from or why it scared them because then it’s not.

Lol. I like that "lieutenant" . didn't know this about ...@Ironman, he's multi faceted . I need to start following y'all more in other film room discussions .not in a creepy way lol, but you both seem to have good insight on movies/shows outside of this genre as well.
