Yup. All of that. Also the nun showed up in the Annabelle sequel
I had to look it up, I think I was binging horror movies one night and didn't remember the details. For some reason, Conjuring 2 didn't stick in my mind, like Annabelle, the first Conjuring and Sinister (unrelated, I know) did.

Nah it’s a prequel so it actually loops around to the beginning of the first. But it loops around in a very dope way. If insidious 2 made insidious worse for me, Annabelle 2 almost makes Annabelle a little better. Not a lot but a little. Like very little.
I just pretend insidious 2 doesn't exist.
That’s probably for the best. I’ve never seen a sequel undercut and devalue its original so much. It explained away every single scare from the first movie

One of BMD’s writers says the rumor, and it’s just a rumor, is that the baby goat reshot most of this movie. No clue when he would’ve had the time but that’s interesting if true
