It's a massive story. The Petraeus scandal was huge.
Charlie gave that look because he was stunned. It's just after they tanked the Genoa story, and now they've got the lead on ANOTHER scandal involving the military/DOD.
Nothing could have lived up to Red Team III, but I feel like they over did it a little with the attempts at humor (which were actually funny for the most part). The whole thing with Mackenzie wanting Will to fire her got muddled with the relationship being brought into it. It's also weird how they just sprung election night on us like that. Election(presidential) coverage is the biggest night for news networks. Just figured we'd get some mention of preparations for it even with Genoa going on. It is part one of a two part season finale though so I expect the next episode to be great.

I really love this show man 
has fallen right behind Game of Thrones in my list of favorites. What i enjoy even more is I feel like I've watched the show progress and get better, seen a lot of characters/actors come into their own, and genuinely care about the storylines.
It's gonna be a long wait until season 3 but I'll be there when it starts
whoever the actress that plays sloan
(just checked wiki its olivia munn 
) is so damn sexy, she hit her peak tonight just wow

I was looking hard too at the end. The only words I could make out were "Bejing" I'm trying to think what big news happened in Bejing around the time of the last elections.
I think it was more of a symbolic shot than anything else. Especially since they reflected earlier how her and Jim met with him noticing a yellow news ticker
