Just finished watching the entire series :whew:. I'll have to go thru this thread and drop my thoughts later, now that I know I won't get spoiled. About to watch Game of Thrones first.

Karen Page's past willbecome a driving force in later episodes or seasons. She has struggled with drug addiction and a side career in adult films.

After Wilson Fisk goes all Kingpin on that poor Russian fella, he asks Wesley to contact "Mr. Potter" about getting him a new suit. Mr. Potter is Melvin Potter, who at some point becomes the supervillain known as Gladiator.

Karen sure seems rattled when they point out that she's fluent in Spanish, doesn't she? Almost like she's hiding something in her past. Let me just remind you one more time: she totally is

I loved that Potter threw the saw blade at him and was later on shown (in addition to having Stilt-Man's legs there) to have drawings of saw blade attachments in his work shop.

And yeah, those who aren't familiar with DD's history are in for some craziness in general with him. Karen Page...if they hate her NOW? She's gonna wind up more hated than Skylar from BB by the time we get to her "bigger" contributions to the DD mythos.

Overall I thought the series was great and did a really good job in laying the groundwork for these Marvel Netflix shows.

I hadn't seen Charlie Cox in anything before this show, and though he did a really good job as Matt.

I knew D'onoforio would be great as Kingpin as he was. His portrayal wasn't what I expected at first, but learning his back story explained a lot, from his mannerisms to the white painting. I could see why he was so smitten with Vanessa, she was :noah:.

The Good Samaritan speech he gives and the final showdown with Daredevil were :whew:. Also the fight Daredevil had with the red ninja was great.

Also think they did a really good job in the supporting players from Ben,Wesley, Stick to Goya and Leland. Leland had me cracking up and brought a lot of humor to the series. Anytime the goons got together he had at least one line that had me :russ:and kept the stun gun on deck.

Can't wait to see how the other series shape up

nah but my goat dialogue of the show

I didn't come here for you.:aicmon:

But I... am the one you have found...:krs:

You were at the docks... with the boy...:ohhh:

As were you, with the old fool. That was unexpected.:smugdraper:

I'm not part of his war.:beli:

Yet you aided him. And in the act, caused me displeasure.

Did Fisk send you? Is that why he paid that junkie to-- (scoffs) a woman is dead, and for what? just to, lure me into some kind of a trap?:dahell:

You are here, are you not?:upsetfavre:

I knew no one was in the building. Made that mistake with the Russians once. Learned from it.:win:

But you did not know I was here.:youngsabo:

No.... You slowed your heart... lowered your body temperature.:leostare:

The old fool has taught you in our ways:wtf:

I told you I'm not with him:why:

Yet you're still a warrior... deserving of a warrior's death:mjpls:

I came here for Fisk. Guess I'll have to settle for you.:stopitslime:

I show you respect. You would be wise to return the courtesy:wtf:

You'll have to earn it.:demonic:

Finished watching. Great show. I loved the casting, and kingpin in particular. At first he seemed rougher around the edges than I would have thought, but now I appreciate that quality as the goon in him seeping out. Anyway, great show.

What?!?! :heh: have you not read the comics. ???? Matt's father never made it home regardless if he stayed for a few seconds to hear the chants...

I never read the comics, but I know DareDevil's backstory from the 2-part episodes he guest-starred in on season 3 of 90's "Spider-Man: the Animated Series" & to a lesser degree, the 2003 "DareDevil" movie.

Some dudes just can't help themselves. Always gotta compare everything Marvel to everything DC. Can't just sit back and enjoy the piff. nikkas complained about the civilian casualties in Man of Steel but don't give a fukk that Daredevil series just confirmed that hundreds died in the Avengers flick :heh:

Enough with the stupid ass comparisons.

The fukk are you talking about? Everybody knew people died in the Avengers, the movie itself confirms that. People's issue with Man Of Steel's civilian deaths is that Superman never at any point seemed to care to protect or even lead the fight away from citizens. Hell, the first fight with Zod starts with him attacking Zod on his farm in the middle of nowhere only to lead him through the fields and punch him straight into a gas station in the middle of Smallville, bringing the fight directly into a heavily populated area. Compare that to The Avengers where Cap specifically stays on the ground to locate and rescue civilians while the power guys deal with the invading forces.
