That's what I came to say. I think in a 13 episode series, attempting to give layers to Kingpin's character is a good idea. Ep 4 showed a good contrast between the ruthlessness and brutality he's capable of and the civility he needed to portray in the different situations. Making him overly menacing all the time would come off real corny in a show that seems to be going for more depth than your typical comic book adaptations. Even with his little quirks its very evident Fisk ain't the nikka to be fukked with.
Now these fight scenes
these shyts is A1. The creative way they are shot, the acrobatics, the violence, everything is done very well. The thing that really stands out though is how it the fights feel real, the impact of the blows seems legit. I enjoy Arrow, but one of my issues with it is that the fight scenes often times just look like choreographed dances. I know in reality that's what it is, but on film I don't want the battle to look like the fight scene in Beat It. This shyt makes it seem like Matt really fukking nikkas up, and at the same time you realize how vulnerable he is in these scraps.
