As a Marvel fan I'm loving this fukking show. And Daredevil isn't even one of my favorite Marvel heros. Hope Marvel makes more shows like these. A DD TV Show was a brilliant idea than a DD movie.

Steven DeKnight said he'd love to do the punisher and recently had talks about it if I'm not mistaken.

I LOVE me some Jessica Jones (though the casting is a bit off to me, despite me loving Ritter), however with the various threads seemingly connecting to Iron Fist and the strength of my imagination following the Hallway brawl in DD...I REALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLY wish Iron Fist was next.

I also want Punisher like...yesterday. I need that cat and mouse of DD and Punisher trying to follow the same criminal. DD wanting to apprehend him/her and Punisher wanting to flat out murder them while DD tries to stop him. Just one ep. And then give Frank his own show.

I agree about punisher, I wanna see the whole marvel knights world recreated. Plus, how can you have daredevil with no Frank?

I decided to work from home yesterday just so I could run through all 13 episodes in one sitting and I couldn't do it. I got to episode 7 and realized this was a show I could wait to finish.
Dude playing Daredevil is surprisingly good; the fight choreography is great and I like Rosario Dawson. Scott Glenn as Stick is awesome.
But Foggy and Karen suck.
The storylines are so fukking blah. I really don;t give one solid fukk about the redevelopment plan or the Urich investigation.
And D'Onofrio is disappointing as fukk as Kingpin.

Guess I will try to finish it when I have some free time and get bored.

Still on episode 4 and yeah this Kingpin>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>the kingpin from the original movie. That beheading via car door!!!:damn::damn::damn:

This Kingpin is so much like the comicbook version in every way from not just the intimidating look, but also the personality.:wow::banderas:

Daredevil stans are really feasting on this show. A shame this show is just a netflix series and not a full show!:mindblown:

The Kingpin is ill, to me.

Whereas he was Rigoletto's muscle before he made it to the top, Wesley is his cultural goon.

Fisk has him handle the business end in his place and needs him to help nail the trappings of success (telling him which priceless paintings to buy etc.), which is an interesting spin on the hired muscle/boss dynamic. :yeshrug:

I'm fine with him being not a beast from jump too. It's a 13 episode arc, I like the fact they left both him and Matt room to grow.

shyts dope, casting kingpin will always be difficult, they could have done a WHOLE lot worse.

the fight scenes are dope as fukk.
That's what I came to say. I think in a 13 episode series, attempting to give layers to Kingpin's character is a good idea. Ep 4 showed a good contrast between the ruthlessness and brutality he's capable of and the civility he needed to portray in the different situations. Making him overly menacing all the time would come off real corny in a show that seems to be going for more depth than your typical comic book adaptations. Even with his little quirks its very evident Fisk ain't the nikka to be fukked with.

Now these fight scenes :wow: these shyts is A1. The creative way they are shot, the acrobatics, the violence, everything is done very well. The thing that really stands out though is how it the fights feel real, the impact of the blows seems legit. I enjoy Arrow, but one of my issues with it is that the fight scenes often times just look like choreographed dances. I know in reality that's what it is, but on film I don't want the battle to look like the fight scene in Beat It. This shyt makes it seem like Matt really fukking nikkas up, and at the same time you realize how vulnerable he is in these scraps.

Matt taking Spanish classes to get close to 'The Greek Girl' :wow:

If we get that full on 'Man Without Fear' in flashbacks during Season 2:mjcry:

Kingpin is still a lil too autistic for my taste.

I can't watch arrow, so I can't compare, but these fight scenes are very piff
