I'm abrasive and an a$$holeAlright, which difficulty do you recommend then? Giraffe scene wasn't as powerful as seeing Shambala for the first time or riding into Mexico in RDR(and the ending for that matter) or crawling through the microwave in MGS IV hell even walking out with Joker's dead body in Arkham City. Why so defensive, I didn't even say it was a bad game, just educate a brother and keep it moving
You really telling me you felt nothing with the black family? You felt nothing about the ending? You felt nothing when david revealed who he was to ellie?
The game should be played on grounded mode.
And as Ive said, this isnt like say uncharted or cod or something where you get one shot killed, enemies spam grenades and enemies become bullet sponges and cheap shyt like that.
Playing on the highest difficulty fundamentally changes the entire game. No more listen mode. You have use every single bullet smartly. Deciding which item to craft can be life and death because supplies are so scarce. The game becomes about just surviving encounters. Sections will make you want to rip your hair out because 8 guys just entered the room all with rifles and all you have is 1 bullet,an arrow and a bottle. You have to stud there patterns and play smart. The gameplay becomes infused with the narrative and the world.
Believe me I played on normal and then grounded. Its literally like 2 different games.
When i played normal i dont think i ever once had to use a bottle or use my companion. On grounded you HAVE to use both. Ellie becomes an asset that you need. Bottles becomes the only way to live. shyt is
Thats why i admittedly get angry when people talk down on the gameplay without experiencing grounded mode. Far as im concerned if you played on normal you never got to play the game
