Alright, which difficulty do you recommend then? Giraffe scene wasn't as powerful as seeing Shambala for the first time or riding into Mexico in RDR(and the ending for that matter) or crawling through the microwave in MGS IV hell even walking out with Joker's dead body in Arkham City. Why so defensive, I didn't even say it was a bad game, just educate a brother and keep it moving:yeshrug:
I'm abrasive and an a$$hole :yeshrug:

You really telling me you felt nothing with the black family? You felt nothing about the ending? You felt nothing when david revealed who he was to ellie?:francis:

The game should be played on grounded mode.

And as Ive said, this isnt like say uncharted or cod or something where you get one shot killed, enemies spam grenades and enemies become bullet sponges and cheap shyt like that.

Playing on the highest difficulty fundamentally changes the entire game. No more listen mode. You have use every single bullet smartly. Deciding which item to craft can be life and death because supplies are so scarce. The game becomes about just surviving encounters. Sections will make you want to rip your hair out because 8 guys just entered the room all with rifles and all you have is 1 bullet,an arrow and a bottle. You have to stud there patterns and play smart. The gameplay becomes infused with the narrative and the world.

Believe me I played on normal and then grounded. Its literally like 2 different games.

When i played normal i dont think i ever once had to use a bottle or use my companion. On grounded you HAVE to use both. Ellie becomes an asset that you need. Bottles becomes the only way to live. shyt is :wow:

Thats why i admittedly get angry when people talk down on the gameplay without experiencing grounded mode. Far as im concerned if you played on normal you never got to play the game

That's a good point. And you sayin the opening scene where Joel and his daughter are stopped by a soldier isn't powerful? And the end where he's carrying Ellie thru the hospital and gets stopped by the black Firefly chick? The dualities of those scenes ain't powerful?!? The fukk???
Yeah those are great scenes and all but compared to John Marston's final stand? Solid Snakes final fight? Finally getting to Zeus in GOW 3? Juno looking at you in Assassins Creed 2?

Now we have a discussion going.

The parts with the black breh and his little brother were hands down the greatest part in the game. The game would've been better off IMO if it focused on them. But you seriously can't tell me seeing Shambhala for the first time on your PS3 wasn't some game changing shyt.:banderas:

Fair. I still think TLOU did it better though.

If you gonna play Survivor or Grounded I suggest upgrading Armor Piercing for the HR and other guns that have it (El Diablo) when you can - seriously this is damn near mandatory. Shivs (Mandatory) + Max health or Healing Speed (and this is a maybe).upgrades for Joel.
Get weapon sway if your aim is shaky in a gunfight or you can't clap people when you got the jump on them with a headshot. Ammo is SCARCE so you really need to be headshotting anything you can especially if you get the jump on them. This is why the Revolver will probably be your most trusted weapon.

I've never played Last of Us but ever since Resident Evil 5 Capcom has been lacking when it comes to horror survival video games so someone had to pick up the slack.:manny:
