Tariq created a beast he no longer could control, once it got released.

On the other hand Tariq has said a bunch of wild things. And Tariq is not beyond criticism.

He stated that Black Americans aren’t from Africa. And when some people criticized him, he changed it into well we are from but partly of African descent, but mainly from America. We’ve been in the Americas for millions of years. That is some of the wild things he has said.

He went to several African countries prior to all this. Instead of being diplomatic and work on trade relationships with those African nations for ADOS/FBA, he started to attack those Africans and African nations, telling lies like those Africans had us etc.
This is just my speculation, but when Tariq was doing those trips to Africa I think he tried to conduct some type of business over there, they ran a background check and said, "Nah, we good" and that's what set Tariq off.

Just my speculation :manny:

Tariq created FBA because ADOS was taken.

Plus he had a point: is this an organization or an ethnicity... OK. Fine. I get it. Fair point.

But Tariq never exhibited anywhere near the grasp of politics, economics, or research that Yvette and Antonio did. These are college educated professionals. Tariq is a successful high school drop out. Theres differences when the rubber meets the road.
man... get this bullshyt outta here. Yvette was beefing with folks she had SCHEDULED for the ADOS conference cause they retweeted Tariq.
Tone was literally hollering about Master P selling pancakes. Ya'll lost your fukkin minds thinking they'd somehow be "better". Nan one of these b*stards should be speaking.
That's the thing if they had the same common goals there was no need for another creation. Work under the same banner. It was an ego play a selfish move. A move that also weakened ADOS movement by fracturing the numbers of support. From the moment that happened I told people here you could see what he is. See him though his motivations. He put himself and his needs above any of his people and their agenda which should have been share. Instead of working together they wrestled about control. Then c*nty Lesbo started saying you not ADOS if you don't pay a subscription fee to her.

2 sides of the same coin. These people are egomaniacs and they should be nowhere near the wheel driving towards any of the stated goals they have claimed for their people. One is a lying scam artist and the other worked for an organization that wanted to make immigration white again. Long before Maga was a thing.

Both are compromised agents.
this is another delusion, ADOS destroyed itself with some of the same shyt i just detailed

you're talking about the organization

I'm referencing the movement.

Yvette and Antonio formalized it beyond the impact of Coates essay

I can't argue with a guy who can easily look this up. They created the organization, chapters, etc all of that long before Tariq did.

are you fukking stupid?

Yes, they set the intellectual ground work and mass movement for reparations generally and reinvigoration of the argument, especially online.

the coli was on this long before her

her and tariq are late
Of course this debate is older than all these people. Long before this it was addressed as the “40 acres”.

Forty Acres and a Mule
Walter L. Fleming
The North American Review, Vol. 182, No. 594 (May, 1906), pp. 721-737 (17 pages) .

I do think they can be credited for a resurgence and making it popular during the digital age on social media. And ADOS actually had chapters all over the country.

I remember Hon Elijah Muhammad talk about it at a saviors day.

Dr. Sandy Darity did lay down the ground work for Tone and Yvette. The climbed on his shoulders. A problem I’ve seen happen over and over again is that common people (social media) don’t know this man. And they are just talking, giving their opinions as if it means something. Tariq is no exception to that, difference is he had a somewhat larger platform. (At the time 90K subs).

they're an amalgamation of Darity and Claud Anderson talking points
fun fact: they don't even credit Darity anymore. when the org was announced they credited Thomas Piketty as their inspiration.

Piketty is from France... :dead:
Piketty isn't even an American citizen and he speaks on GLOBAL wealth disparities :deadrose: :
LINEAGE!!! :bryan: IMMIGRANTS!! :bryan:
STOP ALL THAT GLOBAL TALK!! :damn:

There’s always others we can factor into this. I’m sure Thomas Piketty was inspired by someone else, but I don’t think it has anything to with what is going on now. As I mentioned Hon Elijah Muhammad who spoke on this before Thomas Piketty.

“The Freedmen's Savings Bank was a result of the efforts of the friends of the Afro-American in the North to find a means of elevating the newly emancipated race. Organized in 1865, it grew rapidly and established branches throughout the South. It later failed because of dishonesty and incompetence. Fleming traces the bank's origin, growth, decline, and failure, and he indicates its effects upon the blacks. Originally published in 1927.“
