i love the game regardless and was still watching. sounds like some troll ass casual fan shyt to me.

Jordan has said it himself, that the worst thing Stern ever did was to mainly market the league around him and the Bulls.

That might have been the worst thing to do in the long run, but at the time they were :eat:

Kobe even being mentioned in the same breathe as MJ eventhough he didn't have his athletic gifts nor have the luxury to play in a weak era for SG/SF really says alot about his greatness.

:stopitslime: Young MJ was more athletic than Young Kobe but the gap is not substancial. Also MJ got lucky that he played in a weak era in terms of athletes so his shyt looks more impressive since he's blowing by slow footed white athletes. While Kobe had to blow by real nikkas who also have speed and athleticism.

Thee athleticism argument is mute anyway. Cause LeBron >>> MJ athletically. He's just as fast as Jordan, except he jumps higher and he's 6'8" 270 lbs of rock solid muscle rather than MJ who was only 6'6" 190 lbs during much of his athletic prime.

:mjpls: had a 48 inch vert when he came into the league. What happened when Mike was dropping 50 at 40 on the "real nikkas" hobe was blowing past?

Mike came in the league at 195 and was around 205-210 for most of his athletic prime.

I think the statistical dominance is more of indictment of the era he played in. Similar to Wilt and Oscar Roberton's numbers. I'm personally not impressed with stats from era where the league was filled with unathletic white boys.
MJ is the GOAT. But basing his greatness based off inflated numbers in an era of inflated offensive numbers isn't the way to go. If we're going by numbers then Wilt is the undisputed GOAT and Oscar is #2. MJ is probably #3.

But then again we don't judge greatness by numbers. You judge greatness by how much players dominate their given era. And the way you dominate is by winning. MJ won 6 rings. That is where his greatness lies. That is what separates him from simply being the Wilt Chamberlein of SGs. Its not the fact that he averaged crazy numbers.

Mike had a 4.3 40, everything you typed was pure shyt by the way.

Those same real nikkas Kobe played against let a 38 year old MJ post 25, 6 and 5 before he hurt his knee in 01.

Kareem or Wilt

yeah, he was more athletic than Kobe. He also had huge hands, which Kobe doesnt have. If they did the stats back then, I would bet MJ finishing around hte basket to be higher than any perimeter player not named Lebron.

No doubt..
