The most amazing thing he did might be those 2 years with the wizards. a 40 year old averaging 22 points a game and averaging 37 mins a game and playing all 82? a 40 year old scoring 45 points in a game? :leon:

He's the best ever, but his early numbers are inflated by a league still full of stiffs.

Think about if Mike didn't take those two years off, dude could have legitimately had 8 rings

I'm not sure they win the title the second year. When he came back, some will say he wasn't in basketball shape but he put up 55 at the Garden his first week back and averaged over 30 a game against Orlando. I will say that he didn't quite look the same but he was still very very effective.

Jordan's shape wasn't an issue as much as the team being depleted.

Doesn't really matter. Jordan doesn't have to prove anything. He's first and everyone else is competing for second place.

Fam, look at the first step after the jab step -

Young Michael Jordan - His Athleticism - YouTube

Kobe has never ever in his life displayed that level of quickness, that shyt needs a Ross grunt behind it.

And that is what the difference is between them. Fukkin Mike was a physical marvel.

Kobe to me even when he was young never has had the explosiveness, power, and quickness that MJ had..

Exactly.

To me, Kobe never had ELITE athleticism. He was never in the class of Jordan, LeBron, Vince, Dominique, etc. Always a notch below, which makes what he's accomplished even more impressive.

Nobody really argues Jordan isnt the goat except b*stard kids raised without a father who look at Kobe as their father figure and everyone thinks their dad is the best..

I never knew anyone even argued that shyt before I got on sohh. Probably because I'm 31 and I don't talk to hardly anyone younger than me by more than a few years.
