An old washed up 40 year old Michael Jordan averages 20 a game grabbed 6 boards and shot 45 percent from the field

Only 12 guys in the nba this year averaged over 20 a gMs and only 8 of these guys shot over 44 percent

I know thats why i be like :wtb: to ppl who say Jordan Wizard yrs were shaky. I just dont like the fact that he didnt let his legacy end with the Bryon Russell shot. Perfect ending. Damn.

Kareem or Wilt

And that is what the difference is between them. Fukkin Mike was a physical marvel.

Kobe to me even when he was young never has had the explosiveness, power, and quickness that MJ had..

yeah, he was more athletic than Kobe. He also had huge hands, which Kobe doesnt have. If they did the stats back then, I would bet MJ finishing around hte basket to be higher than any perimeter player not named Lebron.

Nobody is fukkin close. In his 2nd full season he had 37.1ppg 2.88spg and only hit twelve 3pters that season. Followed that yr up 35ppg 3.16spg and only hit seven 3pters that season. 7 straight scoring titles. 200 steals and 100 blocks:ohmy: By far the best mid range ever. Dominate on both ends. Only if he had a dominate center them first few yrs so he wouldnt have to average 43pts against bird. GOAT :king:

:mjpls: Damn right.

I think what he did with the Wizards was more impressive being that he was doing that really off skill alone as his knees were "shot" by then and he was clearly not in the best shape

I think the statistical dominance is more of indictment of the era he played in. Similar to Wilt and Oscar Roberton's numbers. I'm personally not impressed with stats from era where the league was filled with unathletic white boys.

MJ is the GOAT. But basing his greatness based off inflated numbers in an era of inflated offensive numbers isn't the way to go. If we're going by numbers then Wilt is the undisputed GOAT and Oscar is #2. MJ is probably #3.

But then again we don't judge greatness by numbers. You judge greatness by how much players dominate their given era. And the way you dominate is by winning. MJ won 6 rings. That is where his greatness lies. That is what separates him from simply being the Wilt Chamberlein of SGs. Its not the fact that he averaged crazy numbers.

Fam, look at the first step after the jab step -

Young Michael Jordan - His Athleticism - YouTube

Kobe has never ever in his life displayed that level of quickness, that shyt needs a Ross grunt behind it.

:stopitslime: Young MJ was more athletic than Young Kobe but the gap is not substancial. Also MJ got lucky that he played in a weak era in terms of athletes so his shyt looks more impressive since he's blowing by slow footed white athletes. While Kobe had to blow by real nikkas who also have speed and athleticism.

Thee athleticism argument is mute anyway. Cause LeBron >>> MJ athletically. He's just as fast as Jordan, except he jumps higher and he's 6'8" 270 lbs of rock solid muscle rather than MJ who was only 6'6" 190 lbs during much of his athletic prime.
