I'm more interested in the Mr. Mercedes series coming out in August. I thought that trilogy of books (Mr. Mercedes, Finders Keepers, and End of Watch) was great. Wish it was on something other than the direct tv channel though.
Kings newer stuff has been really good, starting with Under the Dome (the show sucked) and 11/22/63 around 2010. Before that from the late 90s thru 2010 all his shyt was really forgettable apart from the DT stuff.

I thought Cell and Duma Key were pretty good.

Now that I think about it, it's amazing Cell didn't get made into something once zombies became the cool thing to do

Cell did get made into a movie...it was pretty bad. Starred John Cusak and Samuel L Jackson.

It was legit one of those movies you had to go to wiki and read about the ending and what it was supposed to be

The premise is what interests me, the characters are some of the most boring people ever put together on TV.

Not one person is drawing me in this at all. they all look disinterested in this show

I know I started this thread but I am going to wait until this season ends and see how it went as far as reviews when I start watching.

Never forgive FX () for cancelling the Bridge, although they partially won me back with that OJ American Crime series and Atlanta ().

They have the audacity to keep garbage like the Strain and Tyrant still on.

Yep it's garbage. I just wanted to see what monsters they come up with and how they look. So far all we've seen are roaches. The problem is they are trying to create drama with these characters and all of them are boring and trash. Clay Davis really the only reason I'm watching.
