It was cool I guess for the first episode. I'll keep watching just to see how it goes. That father is already one of the dumbest characters out the gate though. I can already see him ending this the same way as the movie.

Also why was this edited to hell? Makes me think this show wasn't suppose to premier on Spike. Maybe Netflix passed on it bc a lot of f bombs were edited out and they kept dropping them which started to get irritating.

first ep was straight (mostly the end and the overall fukkery of a mom being called a slut by her daughter

Watched 10-15 minutes and deleted it off the DVR. Terrible acting and a few of the characters felt annoying.
I like where it's going. Interesting set up and hopefully they stick the landing in terms of the characters and the dynamics. It definitely has an unsettling tone and has the whole metaphor about a wholesome little town hiding shyt beneath the surface. Of course the mist will bring that out and we'll see the consequences.
