They really need to do "The Jaunt" but something like "The Mist" could be fukking dope as a series, unless they fukk it up. I need to see who the show runner is.

I hear you but I think they could actually do both since the stories are pretty much related. A real mind fukk could take place trying to explain the concept of time with The Jaunt and other dimensions or monsters in them like the ones from The Mist and It (Pennywise's home world).

One of the Deadline articles about the TV show stated that Christian Torpe, a Danish writer/director/producer, is the showrunner.

All I have read on the guy always has mention of some show called Ruby that is supposed to be good. I'm gonna see if I can find a copy somewhere with subtitles so I can see whats up with Torpe.

It would have been amazing if they could have gotten Frank Darabont to be the showrunner for this though. Just give him free reign and leave him alone to make the show he wants unlike what AMC did with him and The Walking Dead.

If its TV and it's Stephen King...more than likely its gonna be a disaster. They really need to do another version of The Stand the 90s version is awful. The Uncut Edition of the book is amazing.

Not to be a Debbie Downer but the track record isn't good. I hope it is good though and is more open ended than the movie. Darabount just didnt give a fukk with that movie ending (I'm in the minority when thinking that was dumbest decision to ever make by killing everyone including your son 2 minutes after you run out of gas... but thats a whole nutha convo.)
