Why do we box in experiences like this?

Let's just refer to things as good or not good. Walking simulator, movie game, etc etc. Both of these things can be good. We are playing games to have fun and be entertained. Not to check off a list of what counts as a 'game'.

You are allowed to enjoy Warzone, Escape from Tarkov, and Dark Souls then turn around and enjoy Virtues Last Reward, Death Stranding, and Journey. If you enjoyed your time with it mission accomplished.

It's weird how as gamers we box in the experience like if you're not twitch reacting or inputting combos you can't be enjoying yourself.

Im only saying that cause thats what xbox players come out and say everytime a new PlayStation exclusive is launched. Yet they won’t say that about a game like this that is more of a “walking sim” then TLOU or GoW

They are “movie games” and you know that cause that’s what you said before.

I think the game looks fun but xbots are not gonna have the same “movie game” criticisms for it that they use for PlayStation games. I just like calling out the hypocrisy
