The media has been pushing the individualism narrative forever...it's a by product of the Jordan era. Winning and teamwork took a backseat once MJ shifted the paradigm. Not to mention, it has been a foregone conclusion that GSW would roll to a title AND that KD is gone after the season so they gotta hop on something for drama. Honestly, it's their own fault. They did it nonstop with the heat. All the time the tv and radio shows would do pieces about him needing to go back to Cleveland. Pregame his second year there before a game, reporters were still asking him about if he’d ever consider returning. Half the coverage of the lockout was about if the cba would force Arison to break up the 3 of them.

These are the same clowns who have been pretending as if KD was carrying the warriors because of the way they were choosing to play.
