thats what I thiught but why is it when they get stung, they do indeed become infected.. so how are thet imuned?

The flare is the viral outbreak that has no cure. This is different from what happens when stung by the grievers. Remember the creators made the grievers and sent a cure up with Teresa. I'm not sure what exactly is in the sting of the grievers but it also served to recover some of their memories
so basically the stingers and the anti virus is totally diferebt from the real virus out in the real world
Exactly, and they didn't really say in the movie but the flare is airborne.

no, not necessarily..... The creators are isolated and not directly exposed to those with the flare. At this stage it's unclear where on Earth this us taking place but presumably in the case of a pandemic governments would try to quarantine those with the illness or those exposed to it. It's likely the creators are working for whatever government is in place after the Earth scorch and are operating in some safe/ remote location
Having read all the books would you say this has the most potential? I know hunger games and divergent fall off
That's a tough question. I personally thought Divergent was an extremely boring read. The hunger games was good but after book 1 it seemed pointless. The maze runner was far more entertaining to read and each book is very different as the scenery changes.
However, Maze runner is a lot weirder than the other books, which is why I'm very curious to see how they do the movies. I think it's harder to do Maze runner because the environment is more diverse, there are all kinds of weird beings and a lot of things are never explained fully. The next one should be tough.
I liked this, it had good action, story, characters,tension and no grating romance story. Looked very good for a movie with $34M budget. There were a lot of special effects in this. Only thing I didn't like was the ending.
