The decline in storyline/writing in the sequels leads me to believe that Sophia Stewart really did write the original because some of those plotholes...

I thought one was a nice intro, but I wasn't too impressed. Part 2 was better.

i was at some easter cook out....got drunk...nxt thing i know im at the movies with a beer in my hand in line....with a few buds.
talkin about " we watchin the matrix"
didnt know what the fukk it was.....but watched it anyway ...
i enjoy it...and marked out at the end when RATM's Wake up came on.
lets be real, this flick is still pretty good now.

The problem here is no one's taking into account what The Matrix was when it first came out.

Right now it looks okay and is decent. BECAUSE it set the bar when it came out and everything else has been influenced by it.

That fact that it came out 14 years ago and it still is decent today despite everything else that has come out? That's amazing.

Not to mention the story, philosophy and originality.
